Now that the new season is well underway, I'm going nuts here over Fall produce. That, of course, includes my year-round favorite, the apple. You may eat one a day to keep the doctor away, but can you identify the fruit's many varieties?
Here's the deal: I'm going to flash you a picture of an apple, and you're going to guess the variety. Can you get all my questions right? There's only one way to find out!
6/7. Not bad at all. I live in apple country, central NY. My school has its own apple orchard.
Granny Smith and McIntosh are my personally favorite. I love tart apples.

yay! 100%! apples are one of my favorite fruits.the best kind are honeycrisp and pink ladys..delicous.

well i guess that i did better than i thought since i know some apple types but not all of them. personally i LOVE pink lady apples, and i love granny smiths because they both have a bit of a tart flavor.

Wow, 6/7!! I only got the last one wrong which isn't surprising since I had no idea what any of the choices looked like. I love pink lady, gala, fujui, braeburn.. I enjoy a good granny smith with honey from time to time, too. Mmm apples! I really don't like red delicious!!

suziryder, I have similar tastes... strongly dislike Red Delicious apples, love Galas and Fujis and Braeburns. Red Delicious always tastes like bitter cardboard to me!

Apples are my absolute favorite food. I got 6/7, I missed the Pink Lady one, those always look different!

6/7! Not too bad, but I'm a big fan of apples! Fuji and Granny Smith varieties are my favorites! I'm not a fan of Red Delicious like some other posters wrote, they're a little "pethy" as my Grandma calls it.

3/7. I was only correct on 1, 4 and 6; the 3/4 (McIntosh, Golden Delicious and Granny Smith)that I remembered from a Grade K afternoon lesson,lol. I was confused about Pink Lady and Red Delicious,lol. I gave up figuring out the others,lol. McIntosh is my favorite apple.

mm gala and honey crisps are my fav but I love just about everything apple! Raw, baked, pastry-ed, pie-d, sauced, any way lol 
My faves are Arkansas Black, Braeburns, and Honeycrisps. I don't like tart apples.

yum...apples. Just went apple picking last weekend here in New Mexico. Love the apples that come from Pena Blanca! Go Dixon!
