I've decided to give myself a spring time treat in the form of a new blender. As you can imagine I'm all about cocktail making during the summer and I try to use as many fresh ingredients that oftentimes require blending and blitzing. A new blender that can expertly and efficiently crush ice and smoothly mix it into a piña colada is very important to me. My blender is several years old and after reading an article about certain blenders with blades that blend so fast they can make hot soup, I found myself wanting a new blender. Let's all head off to market in search of a new blender that can break down ice and pineapples. Save your blenders in the Yum Market on TeamSugar with the tag words New Blender.

1I need a new blender too! I'll keep an eye on this post- I know that I prefer a glass pitcher and one that can crush ice too!
2We just bought one, so I'll have to head home and see what we came up with! (Well, head home later. I wish now!)
3HAHAH I need a new blender too. The one I currently own I got at a garage sale for 2 bucks!
4But I have a mgig bullet, and it works pretty good.
The blender pictured above--I recently got it. I do a crazy diet consisting of high protein shakes because I am anemic. Until I got this blender the shakes were never quite as smooth as I wanted. It is like an industrial strength blender of awesome. I am totally glad I got it. I love my VitaMix.
5I help out at my boyfriend’s smoothie shop and he has those $800 blenders that no one can afford. But the tip he gave me when blending a smoothie is to add the ice last little by little. If you put the ice in first - the blades have nothing to 'grab' on to. Put your fruit and juice at the bottom then the ice. So if your recipe calls for two cups of ice, add half of the ice first and slowly add the ice until you get a nice smooth blend. Too much ice may choke the blades and create air pockets - not matter how great your blender is.
6Mine's up!
Perfect for entertaining! Ideal for frozen cocktails, smoothies, soups, sauces, chopping nuts...
7If you want an amazing blender buy a Blendtec. Look at how strong they are... its kind of crazy.
Will it Blend...?
