7Hi all! Thanks for all your comments. While this cake was at time frustrating I think I speak for all of us DBs - it was fun to make. Yes, Many of us probably would not make this cake again the way Martha described it because the crepe recipe just was not too hot. But if you all do want to have a go at it I would recommend using your own crepe recipe. My choice of the pastry cream was from Pierre Herme and in the same book he has a very interesting recipe for chocolate crepes too. So, the next time I make this I will probably go with that. Hope you enjoy making it - whoever dares.
