Like the menu and dessert, when selecting a cocktail for a picnic, choose one that can be made in a large batch in advance. This rosemary ruby cocktail is refreshing and delicious. It combines a rosemary simple syrup with vodka and grapefruit juice. To make a nonalcoholic version, substitute sparkling water for the vodka. Fill a cooler with seasonal ale, water, and single-serving juices. Don't forget to pack extra ice for the cocktails. Get this tantalizing cocktail recipe when you read more.

i don't know why - but i was wondering how you were going to work pumpkin into a drink and here i see that you dont = that was a GREAT bait and switch! i'm a sucker for drinks like this - one of the first drinks that i ever had was a salty dog (i.e. vodka and grapefruit) and i loved it.
1This may be a really stupid question, but what is bitter.
2how is this a pumpkin patch drink? I was disappointed it didn't have some kind of pumpkin taste to it.
