Earlier today we tested your knowledge of sushi sustainability. Here's another sushi-related question for you.
I've asked several times whether you'd be open to the idea of eating insects, and quite a few of you have responded with a resounding yes. Still, I have to raise the question when it comes to these pictures of insect sushi. Would you go as far as to eat insect sushi?
I too am usually really good about trying anything once...but I just don't think I could do it. Not with all those legs. I don't even like it if shrimp is served to me with the legs still on. ick

Lol... ok, I WOULD try it. I don't eat seafood, and bugs don't gross me out one tiny bit so... yes, I would TRY it. I don't think I'd eat a ton of it, though.... Many asian cultures eat bugs! What's the big deal?

i can admit it, i won't try a lot of things even once... insects are still animals and they're my friends, i could never eat them!

I'm scared of centipedes, so no, I would not put that near my mouth. I might try grasshoppers or ants though. Maybe a worm... but never something with so many legs that stings!

usually i say a wat sure to trying things once but this one I'll have to pass. I cannot stand my food staring back at me and that darn cricket frog looking thing with the big bug eyes was just too much. I wouldn't even have been okay if i had closed my eyes and ate. -shudder-
amazing how the majority of american culture perceives food like this. i'm sure it's some common food somewhere elese.
