Making Preserves at a Public Fruit Jam
The Meyer lemon, grapefruit, and fig jam was ready to set in the refrigerator. Since the jam wasn't sealed using traditional canning methods, it will keep in the refrigerator for three weeks.
Afterward, everyone swapped fruit flavors. The event was a wonderful way to connect over nature's fruit bounty.
Have you ever attended a public fruit jam?
