Today while in line for coffee, YumSugar revealed something very shocking: she doesn't like turkey and plans on cooking rack of lamb for Thanksgiving dinner. To make things more crazy, the man behind us in line said, "I don't like turkey either." I, on the other hand, love turkey. How about you?

My uncle smokes the most amaaaazing turkey. You darn sure better get enough your first time through the line because there will NOT be leftovers!!
i love turkey. besides, it's healthy. whenever i make a sanwhich that includes meat, turkey is the one
And you can't beat the turkey legs at Ren Fairs.
I would say that turkey is one of my favorite foods - luckily my mom cooks turkey often when I'm home visiting, not just at Thanksgiving!
Turkey makes Thanksgiving my least favorite holidays, foodwise! I'd rather have Hibachi style ham or LOBSTER! But I still end up making turkey because it's my husbands favorite. I definitely don't repeat the meal any other time of year, though!
I love turkey, but only the dark meat. We have One smoked one, and one baked one and one fried one. and enough leftovers to start disliking it after a week!
LOVE turkey!
I LOVE
turkey!
Only if it is wearing lipstick!
Party is totally overreacting! Just because I'm not OBSESSED with Thanksgiving like Party doesn't mean I don't like turkey. I'm just *considering* doing something else ... maybe a delicious and beautiful crown of lamb...
turkey is ok . . . but i definitely don't prefer it. i'm cooking lamb for thanksgiving this year, too! my boyfriend's family thought that was ridiculous, but i will not relent. so they're bringing their own turkey. *sigh*
lol
My mom this year is considering making me an alternative meal for Thanksgiving since I do not like turkey.
i won't eat it for the fact that it's an animal, but when i did, i don't think that i had a problem with the flavor of it.
Turkey's okay, but that crown of lamb sounds good Yum! The thing with turkey for me is that it has to be done well. Too many people don't know how to cook it well and then it's just awful and dry.
I like both but I would definitely choose lamb. YUM
i love turkey... my dad brines a turkey and grills it for thanksgiving and its delicious!
I love turkey, but in my family, I'm the only one. Oh well.
I like turkey. I like chicken more though. But I'll always have turkey on Thanksgiving because it's such a tradition. Yum!!!
I could probably eat turkey every day and not get sick of it. I hate ham, though. Just saying.
Yum we did a big Roast last year, "roast beast" as my husband called it, It was a hit.
I like turkey sandwiches, but I only usually like to have "hot" turkey (no matter how it is cooked) on Thanksgiving...I don't prepare it any other night of the year and don't want it any other day than Thanksgiving.
I don't really like turkey but will all the stuffing and cranberry sauce you can barely taste it, lol.
Love turkeys, on a farm, not on my plate.
Turkey is traditional because that is what was available during the time. Remember, pilgrims and Indians. That's the reason the entire holiday started and that is why the foods stay about the same for this event. It's seasonal, traditional and regional. It's also about family, for the main part. Who cares if people bring a turkey, it wont make the world end.
I like it, plus I'm vegan. I never liked it eating it as a kid
Love turkey.
i like turkey only once a year....only time i ever eat it
Hate it. I'm a vegetarian now, but back when I ate meat as a child, I always refused to eat turkey at Thanksgiving. The overabundance, plus all the other Thanksgiving foods that I don't like, make Thanksgiving my absolute least favorite holiday.
It's alright, although I have to admit I prefer deli turkey to Thanksgiving turkey.
I also look forward to Thanksgiving sides 1 million times more than the turkey.
I always do a BRINE on my turkey and it always turns out moist and delish on the inside and crispy on the outside...
Nothing is worse than DRY turkey! But I am doing Lamb for Christmas though...
Eh...I neither like nor dislike turkey. It's just there. An option to other meats.
I
Never wanted to eat it as a child. It smells good to me now- but like others, I'm a vegetarian now.
I LOVE turkey! Last year my Mom made a roasted pork loin with rosemary and it was the worst thing ever! It probably would have been wonderful on any other night, but when you're jonesing for turkey and you end up with pork loin with rosemary, it was a huge disappointment! Needless to say, I will NEVER stray from my beloved turkey again!
There are so many good alternatives if you don't like it. For my first thanksgiving I cooked cornish game hens because the big bird intimidated me. Some of my favorite Thanksgiving meals have been ones when I was a vegetarian. There are so many good things you can do with veggies, legumes, and grains.
I love a good Turkey sandwich with lettuce, tomato, and miracle whip. Yum

turk turk
I love turkey. I normally do something differnt at Christmas, crown roast or something else. I do ham at New Year's
I like turkey!!!
I went until my sophomore year of college before trying turkey! I still remember all those thanksgivings where I'd have to eat dinner rolls while everyone else enjoyed the bounty. Since the thanksgiving meal is still relatively new to me, its definitely one of my favorites!
I really like turkey. At Thanksgiving, I'm the only one who eats the dark meat. My parents and in-laws all think I'm strange. That's okay. More for me!
i could eat turkey every day. with a good white gravy and some mashed potatoes or french fries. zomgggg i'm drooling just thinking about it lol
My family doesn't like turkey...
....so we eat lobster for thanksgiving.
I like turkey. I only go to the trouble of cooking it myself for Thanksgiving though.
Around here, BBQ joints sell smoked turkey year-round. It's a nice alternative to beef from time to time.
I hate Turkey - but I LOVE Turkey gravy! - I just love gravy
No.I'm a vegetarian but I think when I actually ate meat I didn't really like it but I liked a leftover turkey sandwich
Need you ask?
I like turkey best mixed with all my other Thanksgiving sides and I prefer the dark moister meat
I could take it or leave it. I usually just eat it once a year - on Thanksgiving. It can be really good if it's cooked well, one year we had a barbecue turkey (crazy, right?) and it was sooo good. But most of the time I think turkey is too dry for my liking.
I love turkey and I can't wait til Thanksgiving!
Love it...but since we're having multiple thanksgivings (have to make the rounds to the families) the one we host at our house will have lamb. I don't like lamb, but I figure there will be plenty of other things for me to eat and two other opportunities to eat turkey that week.
