You may have heard of using your noodle, but what about losing your noodle? A man was arrested last Saturday after he assaulted his live-in girlfriend with a cooking pot because he was upset she made him macaroni for dinner.
According to the police report, Donald J. Jacobs Jr. of North Platt, NE, was angry when he discovered she made macaroni for him. In a fit of rage, Jacobs hit his girlfriend with a cooking pot, tossing the food across the house. The woman locked herself in a bathroom and called the police.
I can't imagine anyone getting upset about eating macaroni and cheese for dinner — it's one of my favorite foods. Do you find this piece of news bewildering?

that's so funny. my fiancee makes me mac n cheese like every night cause he's not very vegetarian friendly and that's about all he knows what to do for me sometimes. i don't think that i'd ever throw the pot at him though!
1wow what a jack@ss
2Was it from a box? Was it that cheap powdered Kraft Mac N' Cheese stuff? Yeah I can understand his rage if he was served that hot cardboard food stuff. And was she serving this as a main course? Mac n' cheese does not a healthy balanced dinner make.
But he stood have gotten up and shown her how to make proper homemade macaroni and cheese if that's what he wanted.
3Oh this is embarrassing. I live in Nebraska. Thank goodness I don't live in North Platte. That place has the reputation for being 'dirty'. So I'm not surprised that this happened there. But what a psycho.
4Hey, what's wrong with Kraft Mac & Cheese Whackdoodle?
We "balance" ours up
with fresh diced tomatoes, sauted peppers, and on occassion ground turkey or beef.
Sure, not the King of mac and cheese, but in a pinch, it works.
5o.o how dangerous. i hope that woman stays away from him. and over mac n cheese? some people are quite disturbed. i practically drool when i boyfriend makes me mac n cheese from the box because I cannot make it properly enough to save my life. lol.
6I love all mac 'n cheese, even the boxed kind with the radioactive cheese. And honestly dude, maybe you should just be happy she made you food at all. What a giant douchenozzle.

8I remember I almost dropped mine coming out of the oven...my husband(ex) and daughter yelled NOooooooooooooo in slow motion and dived towards the kitchen. I only spilled a corner on the floor and that man got a spoon and ate it right off the floor. LOL
Wow what a psycho.
9hmm.... i'm gonna say that there were probably other issues at hand as well.
10this is something I can see my boyfriend doing if he is hungry enough
11I agree with ElleJay. He clearly not stable.
12There is nothing wrong with mac-n-cheee for dinner! What a freak!
13No way the macaroni were the reason: he is abusive and just happened to use this as an excuse. I hope that sad excuse for a man stays away from her (preferably, in jail).
14First it's WACKDOODLE not WHACKDOODLE and the powdered Kraft mac n' cheese is incredibly disgusting. Where to start? Hmmm...powdered bright neon orange pseudo cheese dust and the worst broken quick cook macaroni pasta...mix together and hurl.
Now the Deluxe Kraft and Cheese is a wee bit better than the powdered but it's like comparing eating cardboard to eating wax...neither is pleasant but at least the wax is smooth.
Making Macaroni and cheese from scratch is not time consuming or difficult.
15I love all kinds of mac and cheese, from powdered to the pouch to homemade. One time I fancied up the pouch kind by mixing in diced tomatoes that had been roasted with ground coriander. Yum.
Anyway I agree with Calimie that this had nothing to do with mac and cheese. He's just an abusive a-hole.
16QUE???????? He's loco, mang...
17Give him the death penalty!
18Wow, that's crazy. I agree he's probably just an abusive man and was using this as an excuse.
19"Yeah I can understand his rage if he was served that hot cardboard food stuff."
I hope that was a joke. :S I don't normally take things too seriously on fun sites like this one, but to be honest, I'm not sure why this was reported on YumSugar. It might have involved food in a remote way, but it's a story about domestic violence.
20Maybe it wasn't cheesy enough.
21crazy. mac n cheese is delicious. he might just have spazed out and hit the closest thing in reach
22some people are freaks
23this doesn't have anything to do with macaroni, obviously he's just crazy
Man, this is the exact opposite of my fiance. He LOVES mac & cheese, especially Kraft.
24If I came home after a long day of work and my husband made me instant Kraft Mac n Cheese, I might be a little pissed off. If he made macaroni and cheese from scratch, however...
25Macaroni & Cheese is awesome =]. Yes, even the boxed kind with radioactive neon orange pseudo cheese.
But yeah.. the macaroni & cheese had to have been some sorta side issue.. more massive issues at hand. I really can't imagine being beat upside the head w/ a cooking pot just because I made macaroni & cheese... my fiance loves it. lol
