My cousin Caroline is 12 years old. I'll encourage her to continue experimenting in the kitchen with one of these delightful gifts.
You too, can motivate the kid-sister in your life to get interested in all things baking. Give a cookie cutter set or a collection of colorful sprinkles and sanding sugars. Show her how much fun baking can be with a Kids in the Holiday Kitchen cookbook. If she's got a little sister, like Caroline does, give them both adorable matching aprons.

Cute ideas! I love the sprinkles.
1i was never much of a baker but my little sister is! good ideas!
2I have a "kid at heart" friend who loves to bake. The sprinkles would be perfect for her, too!
3As a mom of 3 young boys, 2 of whom LOVE to cook, and 1 who is just too young for us to know whether he does or not... maybe we should say kid sister/kid brother?
4I love the pink spatula, I think I'll get that.
5I sure would love to give my boyfriends lil cousin a basket full of these goodies. But all she wants is makeup! If she doesn't get makeup she'll tell us "but I wanted lipstick"
6i recently created my own baking set for a 3 year old.
It included a little matching apron and apron with a cupcake theme, a pink silpin jr, pink and purple Wilton silicone baking cups, a jar of sprinkes, and a bin of 100 cookie cutters from Wilton. She loved it, and wanted to nap in the apron!
7Actually, some of this stuff I would totally think was fun, and I'm 27.
8busybeegal, check out today's post for the Junior Chef Brother!
9My 10 year old would love this!!!
