First he starred in Kevin Smith's Zack and Miri Make a Porno as a twentysomething guy who ventures into the world of amateur pornography, and now Seth Rogen is bringing a very similar story to Showtime in a TV series. Variety awesomely calls it a "porno-based comedy," and Rogen will produce the show with his writing/producing partner Evan Goldberg (Rogen and Goldberg wrote Superbad together, hence the "Seth" and "Evan" characters).
The Showtime series will follow "three twentysomethings who learn about life and love while running a pornography shop."
I really liked Zack and Miri Make a Porno, though I'm curious to see if this kind of storyline is sustainable for a TV show. There's no mention of Rogen starring in the show, so hopefully they can find someone who is equally lovable. Do you think a show like this could work?

well i think that it could be really funny to see. i don't know - there's just something that's kind of 'off' about it all that just might work on Showtime. i'm sure that i'll at least tune in to the first episode if it ever makes it on air. Zach and Miri was very funny!
