I never use the old ground stuff I keep in a cheap shaker. I've got a nice wooden grinder and four color peppercorns (supercheap if you have a store with a bulk spice section). I grind fresh
pepper on everything.
I don't have a "fabulously chic" grinder (unless you count a plastic costco grinder as "fabulously chic"), but I do use fresh ground black pepper frequently!
For years I thought I liked black pepper. That is until I bought a pepper mill and realized that fresh ground black pepper is icky to me.
Goes to show the difference between ground and freshly ground!

1I finally got a cute/chic mini grinder for Xmas last year, keep it by my stove next to table salt and use it all the time.
2Oh gosh, how could you not?
3I use the multicolor peppercorns too.
4I'm not a pepper fan at all. Makes me sneeze far too much even if I taste it
5Yes I do......I love freshly ground pepper.
6I love William Sonoma's pepper grinders! The boyfriend is obsessed with them!
