We love Slashfood so much that every Thursday we round up their most delicious stories. Here are this week's finds:
- Pair mahi mahi with maple syrup and ginger for an elegant Autumn dish.
- How to host a meatless Thanksgiving meal that's just as fulfilling.
- Homemade honey liqueur is the perfect pairing for those chilly nights.
- Looking for a fresh take on the tea sandwich? Meet the sandwich torte.
- Europe decides it will no longer discriminate against oddly-shaped produce.
- If Bulgarian wine is the second largest bottled wine export in the world, why aren't we drinking it?

i'm so glad that you posted the meatless Thanksgiving article there - since that's something that i have been dealing with for the past 15 years. i'm a veggie and this is one of those days that i just resign myself to having just sides since it's enough of a hassle for the cook to make turkey let alone another dish. i like the idea of a pumpkin and kale lasagna...my only issue is that i feel like lasagna takes away from the thanksgiving-ness of the day. it's definitely got the fall flavors, but i don't know about it for me. i might create a dish that uses those flavors though since it's really appealing in itself.
