With all this talk about turkey, it's easy to overlook the sides. Thanksgiving, however, wouldn't be the glorious holiday that it is without dressing. Whether it's made with cornbread, rice, or sourdough, stuffing is pure comfort and, in my opinion, should be enjoyed year-round. Even if it's not on the menu every day, honor it today — National Stuffing Day! — by taking this quiz.

Stuffing and dressing are not the same thing. Stuffing is more crumbly and dry and can be cooked inside of a turkey. Dressing is more dense and is always cooked separately. Stuffing is used more for flavor, while dressing is a compliment to the food.
1yay - i got ZERO right. i don't know how that happened. i thought i'd get at least 1. that's almost embarrassing!
2Don't feel bad ilanac I didn't get a single one right either.
3Well I don't know much about stuffing, but I do know how to make it taste good!
4will205- I disagree. My stuffing is not crumbly and dry, but is cooked inside the turkey. It is delicious. I have family that calls it dressing, but that is because of where they are from. Stuffing is one of my favorite foods!
5I'm a ZERO too.
Lame.
I'll just eat the stuff (no pun intended) without worrying about the history
6My mom makes the best stuffing in the world - and there's no brains in it! lol

9damn i only got one right!! and i love stuffing!
10For someone who loves dressing more than any other Thanksgiving dish (except pumpkin pie) I sure don't know my stuff.

15Hmm...1/5. I love the stuff, but this year I'll be having "dressing." Mom always stuffs the bird. It's funny, this is the first year I've heard popular chefs renouncing the stuffing of the bird. They say it over cooks the bird...
16I hate stuffing, so I'm not surprised I got these all wrong
