The day following the biggest food holiday of the year, it only makes sense that there's enough remaining to feed a small village. Growing up, I quickly tired of eating turkey and stuffing for every meal, so as I got older, I began incorporating turkey, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, and vegetables into newfangled dishes. (Check out some especially innovative ideas.) But I have friends who aren't fans of leftovers in general, and that includes Thanksgiving dishes, too.
What about you: Are leftovers an enjoyable or dreaded part of Thanksgiving?

i like stuffing and mashed potatoes with gravy left over
1to avoid strange looks, i also take some turkey, but i really only care about the stuffing, haha
mmmm i take as much as I can! That means no cooking for a couple of days
2The whole reason to have Thanksgiving is the leftovers! Turkey sandwiches are my reason for going to Thanksgiving! ha ha ha
3I love leftovers!! It means no cooking for days and more wonderful food I couldn't stuff inside me from the night before. I'm going to get some leftovers now actually.
4My mom always makes awesome leftover stuff. Turkey soup, hot turkey sandwiches with gravy, turkey pot pie with mashed potato crust on top MMMM
5I've had enough turkey over the years, that's why I had crab for my Thanksgiving - so yummy and no turkey sandwiches today. Nothing wrong with turkey or leftovers though I do love them all
6remember ross' leftover thanksgiving sandwich on friends? with one with the MOIST MAKER! monica's secret ingredient: a gravy-soaked piece of bread in the middle? he had to go to anger management when someone stole it
MY SANDWICH? MYYYYYYYYYY SANDWICH?!?!?!?!?
haha i love friends
7My family and I love leftovers from Thanksgiving! The food always tastes better the next day, because the flavors soak into the food more. If there's more than enough turkey leftover, we divide it up in serving size portions and put it in freezer bags and freeze it for making different meals from it during the months ahead. Any dressing left, I freeze it as well. I use the creamed potatoes for potato soup, but other than that, I don't keep the sweet potatoes, and other veggies past 2 days.
8I love making turkey sandwiches with the leftovers! Mmm.
9We did great. We packaged up the turkey into frozen bags portioned for soups and turkey meatball recipes. Today is the only sandwich day. The leftover mashed potatoes will go into potato pancakes for brunch tomorrow. The leftover baked squash went into a pie shortly after dinner that we cut into later that night. Biscuits were heated with chilled peach compote for breakfast today. And the stuffing... is just yummy so we don't have to repurpose it for anything.
10I dislike the taste of reheated turkey...so the only way i can eat it is in a salad with lots of mayonnaise. But I'll eat everything else just fine, I especially like ham and mashed potatoes.
11I really don't like leftovers. There's only a limited amount of things that I can handle as leftovers.
12Mashed Potatoes are one... corn another... But not much more.
Everything either gets really moist, or really dry.
It NEVER tastes as good as it did originally. I have to load in other things to make it taste tolerable.
Just yuck for me.
My family loves it though.
i'm not a fan of any leftovers, so unfortunately thanksgiving doesn't rank any higher on my list than usual. i know that people do really like them, but i don't know - they just aren't for me. i also think back to the Friends episode where ross has this thanksgiving leftover sandwich and someone steals it and he goes ballistic. it's really funny, but at least i know that i would never get to be like that.
13My favorite part of Thanksgiving is turkey sandwiches the day(s) after....nothing can beat real roasted turkey for a sandwich...yummy. My mom always sends me home with a bag of turkey so I can extend the yummy sandwiches.
14People who NEVER eat leftovers scare me. o_o LOL
15Seriously, pepperjack cheese. It's like a whole new experience. Basically, anything Italian or Mexican will be so different from your Thanksgiving fare that it won't feel old at all.
Leftovers are all I eat after any holiday!
16Sometimes I don't mind leftovers, like is it's pumpkin pie! But turkey leftovers can get on my nerves. I can do about one turkey sandwich and after that I'm done. Call me crazy, but sometimes the turkey starts to smell really weird after it's been cooked and put in the fridge. Ugh.
17This year we really enjoyed the leftovers! My instructor at school invited everyone over for Thanksgiving dinner at his house, and the leftovers we got from that were stuffed grape leaves and whole sweet potato. We had the leftover sweet potato with butter and brown sugar like the huge one I had at Coachella one year, which I remember was SO good.
18I love cold turkey on top of my salads for a couple of days after Thanksgiving, but I could really care less about the rest of the stuff. This year, I made potato/stuffing/turkey croquettes for my husband for something a little different. They were a big hit...it gave the same-old food a new texture and flavor.
19I love Thanksgiving leftovers. Sometimes I use the leftover turkey in recipes and sometimes I eat the leftovers as is. I made a yummy bbq turkey pizza and a spinach feta turkey pizza for dinner.
20i love it...there's no cooking involve, just a microwave and a plate full of leftover honey ham, sweetpotatoe yams and rice cover in gravy and on the side cranberry sauce, yumm
21I normally never eat leftovers, but there's just something about reheated turkey, stuffing, potatos, and gravy! It's so good!
22Love! Mmm, I'm getting hungry just thinking of leftover turkey sandwiches with salt and pepper and lots of mayo.
23Sorry, I don't see how anyone can say that leftovers don't taste better the second time around. That's when Thanksgiving food is best! At least if you know how to work it and reheat it properly.
