Yesterday the results to the Zagat/Today Show Fast-Food Survey were announced. The survey, which was taken by 5,535 people (really? that's all???), declared Wendy's, Panera Bread Company and Outback Steakhouse as their top fast-food destinations. Forty-five fast-food chains were scrutinized and then rated on their food, facilities and service - healthy options were also taken into consideration. I adore Panera Bread. I just wish that they had one near work!
1Glad to see Panera on the list...its very easy to eat healthy there, and they post all their nutritional info and ingredients on their website.
2I am sorry, In-n-out has the BEST fries ever. They are fresh cut in the store and fried in natural oils. They are the best, ever, I mean ever. I am sorry that they are only in California, Arizona and Nevada.

5Panera is hardly fast-food by my definition. Sure you wait in line but there are no burgers and fries. There are soups, salads, and delicious and sometimes healthy sandwiches. and where i'm from, it's called St. Louis Bread Company.

That is weird. As long as the Burger King isn't, I guess....that guy is a freek! I would have guessed that Dave thomas from wendy's or jack in the box would have been higher than Ronald. What about Jared "pornmeister" Fogel from subway?

13They obviously didn't check out the Wendy's near my house. They have the absolute worst service. Every person working there just doesn't have a clue.
14McDonald's does have the best fries overall, only that you really have to eat them within 10 minutes because they get soggy fast - yuck.
15McDonald's absolutely does not have the best fries. Fries are my favorite junk food. When I'm in NYC I always try the different joints with fries. There are definitely places only in NYC with much better fries. I would recommend going to Pommes Frites in East Village or the Papapya King/ Papaya Dog places all over NYC. I especially like the one on 42nd and 9th for fries. In terms of fast food all over the country, I think Rally's had the best but they don't have a lot of restaurants all over the country. I like Arby's, Wendy's and Burger King fries more the McDonald's.
