1Wow, it looks like you could take someone out with that fruitcake. I've never actually had one, but they always look super dense.
27/7 WOOHOO!
37/7, I adore Christmas cookies! In my family we have stollen and pfeffernuse, so good! My dad love fruitcake, so there's always one that appears.
4lolol I got the obvious ones anyway..
57/7. i love baking, so i've spent plenty of time looking over lovely, glossy photos of all of these in baking magazines/cookbooks.
6i hate all these!
7Yea, all the stuff I never eat- besides the marzipan, but I don't like nuts on mine.
86/7 - I've never seen marzipan like that and I'm from Germany!
9Ew, I don't like many of these traditional Christmas desserts... YUCK!
10That fruitcake makes me want to vomit!
115/7 not bad.
12*sigh* I miss a good English mince pie with deluxe brandy cream...
135/7 We make stollen every year! I was thrilled to see it on here.
146/7 I always do well on the food quizzes....
15I missed the marzipan one too! The green ones really threw me off. My favorite at Christmas is the spritz cookies though.
165/7. The only one I didn't guess was the fruitcake. All the others I have never seen before.
17I too must question the picture identified as marzipan. The upper image appears to be pistachio-dredged truffles.
Could an error have occurred in the construction of the quiz?
187/7... I see pretty much all of those items around the holidays!
19missed #4...otherwise they all looked pretty
20the only stollen i've ever had - and in germany - had marzipan in the centre. this stollen doesn't have any, which threw me off. boo!
21the only stollen i've ever had - and in germany - had marzipan in the centre. this stollen doesn't have any, which threw me off. boo!
22I got Linzertorte confused with Sachertorte...haha, whoops.
236/7..and I guessed on quite a few of them
246/7...got the very first one wrong. I have never seen stolen before. I thought it looked a bit like biscotti?!
25I guess that I needed to brush up on traditional Christmas desserts..
266/7 that darned powdered sugar missed me up.
27s/b messed me up
28Mmmmmmm linzer cookies. my aunt makes the best!! i always thought hey were a Hungarian cookie. . .
29These are "traditional"? I guess traditions at my house and in my family are much different, I only got 4/7 of these correct lol.
304 out of 7...pretty bad for a pastry student huh?
