You all know how much I love pizza: in every shape, form, and flavor! Making homemade pizza does not have to be an elaborate production, with a little help from the grocery store you can have delicious crisp melt in your mouth pizza quicker than delivery. I know it's Friday and the last thing you feel like doing after a long week of hectic work is making dinner, but this is so fast, so simple, and so tasty that it really is a wonderful choice for tonight's dinner. The recipe calls for chopped green pepper but feel free to substitute your favorite vegetable: roasted red peppers, chopped tomatoes, or sliced mushrooms. Likewise use premade pizza dough if you're not a fan of pita. For the recipe, read more

I never thought about using pitas as a crust. I'm going to try this.
1i'm notorious with my friends for making quick snack pizza's with pita bread...its such a great idea especially if you're needing just a quick bite before heading out to the party scene on the wkends...i love using leftover stuff i have in the fridge to make a unique pizza...greatness
2I'm tried something like this and I loved it! Perfect for when you want pizza and I love the idea of pitas as the crust. The recipe I tried called for tortillas. Yum!
3I should make this tonight for dinner! Me and the hubs usually watch a movie and eat pizza anyways, but I like the idea of using pita. I might even get whole wheat pitas instead.
4And sometimes when I crave pizza when I'm alone at home, I bust out the English muffins, spread some marinara sauce, sprinkle some Fat free cheese and put it in the toaster oven, for a quick craving fix
Hmmmm pineapple on pizza..hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
5Yeah "pizza crust" can be made out of just about any bread like form in times of need... bagels, sliced bread, buns....
6Mmm I make pita pizzas all the TIME! They're one of my favorites. I like TONS of sauce, mozzerella, tomatoes, black olives, onions, and morning star farms sausage patties.
7another way to make quick & easy pizza is to use pillsbury biscuits. just roll them out to flatten them a little and put them on a greased cooking sheet. top with favorite pizza toppings (mine happens to be BBQ sauce, grilled chicken, red onions, and mozzarella) and bake for 8 to 10 minutes. so easy...and it helps my constant pizza cravings!
8This sounds delicious!
9I love your pizza recipe! It makes me want to go home right now and make one!! xo
10awesome recipe.
11never thought of using pitas as a pizza crust, a must try!
the english muffin pizza is always a winner!
12We use WWpita for quick and easy pizzas as well... but I've never tried it with the pinapple and ham. Sounds good! Will try!
