Oh those industrial designers always seem to impress me... This time it's the portable beverage heater designed by Seungheon Lee. The molded plastic, single-use device is clipped to the side of a mug and creates heat via fuel cells. The long portion stays immersed in the liquid and thermographic ink changes the logo when the beverage is hot. It's just a concept design at the moment, but I can see something like this coming to market in the future.

SMART!!!
1Brillant!
2I want it!
Neato.
3I want it to not be single use, then I definitely want it.

5I drink more cold beverages than hot, and when I want cold, I want super cold! Can't wait to see something to keep my drink frosty! Hopefully that comes next.
6that's cool but a shame that it's only single use. how many of these things can you get in a pack? how much are they individually? i'll just keep reheating in the microwave if these are too expensive.
7I'm with jhuck - I want stuff to get cold sooner!
8lala - right now this is just a concept design, but i think it may be a one time use fuel cell cartridge that goes inside. there wasn't a lot of info where i found it.
9i need this.
10That's awesome!
