Kellogg's has acquired the trademarks and recipes of Mother's Cookies. The beloved maker of the childhood-favorite circus animal cookies filed for bankruptcy in early October. Now Kellogg's plans to bring the brand back and reintroduce Mother's most popular cookies. Although the terms of the deal were not revealed, the president of Kellogg, David Mackay, stated that "Kellogg will use its understanding of the cookie category and distribution infrastructure to expand sales of Mother's Cookies."
I'm excited by the news. What do you think of the rebirth?

Yes!!! I was pretty sad to learn when Mother's was not making more cookies. This is a smart move on Kelloggs part.
1I hope Kellogg's can absorb all the Mother's employees who lost their jobs.
2Looking forward to the return of Circus Animals and Iced Oatmeals!
3You mean i binged on bags of oatmeal, circus animals and chocolate chip for no reason!? damn it!
LOL.
I'm glad they're coming back. I love me Mother's Cookies. Hopefully Mother's cookies employees can get their jobs back.
I wonder if they'll bust out some of the Christmas cookies this season. I know it's late in the game but that would simply be awesome!
4Awesome! I miss my Taffys.
5Lions and tigers and bears oh my. I am so glad they are on their way back. Half a bag is perfect for a fourth meal.

7I am SO EXCITED! I was terribly saddened when I first learned Mother's would be going away.
8YAY! I actually have been hoarding my last bag of Animal Circus and Striped Cookies in my pantry. I finished the last vanilla creme yesterday and was pretty sad after I ate the last one.
9Good news! I hope Kellogg brings back the lemon iced cookies that they had just introduced in 2008.
10woooooo!
11Flaky Flix!!!! we NEED Flaky Flix!!!
12I agree that we need Flaky Flix (in both flavors)!!! Keebler's Fudge Sticks just are not the same! Haven't we FF fans suffered enough over the past few years with the production issue that kept these tasty treats off store shelves for well over a year?
13Yea!!! I was sad to learn that Mother's was no more..... And so very excited to see them back on the shelf at the grocery store. Thank you Kellogg... Your Awesome!
