i've had so many people in my life try to give me tips on how to make the best pie crust and still it's a pain in the butt. my fiance's mother gets even more intricate and puts texture to the outside by cutting out little leaves and layering them around the outside of her crust and to me, it's pretty but unnecessary. oh well.
