Learn How to Make Perfect Pie Crust!
Pulse dough until coarsely blended.
If using a food processor to blend crust, pulse as few times as possible with a little bit of water to achieve a coarse mixture of flour, water, and butter.
Don't overblend — this results in tough dough. The finished mixture should have pieces of butter that are pea-sized or smaller.
Add enough water so that the dough can be rolled out. Too much water will equal a soggy crust.
