Gewürztraminer:
A white wine grape varietal that originated in Northern Italy (many people think it's German but it's not). Today the most successfully produced Gewürztraminer comes from the Alsace region of France. The grape grows best in cool climates and extracts a floral and refreshing wine with crisp acidity that pairs well with spicy dishes. Gewürztraminers have a deep golden peachy color and a distinctive aroma.

More of a Reisling fan myself!
1This is my favorite wine. It's nice and light - perfect for summer!
2I love this wine! My boyfriend and I went to a wine tasting class and this was one of the wines we tasted. We had never bought it before given that we didn't even know what it tasted like let alone how to pronounce it! I like Reisling too!
3mmm..i have yet to try this. Riesling's a little too fruity for my taste though...
4A good wine for Indian food.
5Huh. You learn something new every day!
6I love a good white wine. How do you pronounce that?
7It's goooood.
8I am a tad allergic to red wine, so Gewürztraminer has been my favorite with Italian food for a while. I have a "wino wednesday" club with some friends and I usually bring a bottle of good old Gewürz'.
