it didn't surprise me that everyone's been talking about bacon so much. it's interesting to me since growing up in a jewish household - i've never had bacon, and now that i'm a vegetarian, i wouldn't have a reason to have it either, but i know that there's been a LOT of talk about different uses for it this year. i wonder what next year's ingredient will be
