I pretty much guessed they weren't sending anyone home, what with the holiday theme and how they all pitched in to help Rahdika and Hosea, but Eugene needs to GO. He started out very well, but he's gotten way too cocky.

I'm happy Ariane is doing so well, I really like her, but C'MON... POOR JAMIE! Throw her a bone already! (She's my fave and I want her to go all the way!)

This was driving me crazy last night. I think the original intention was to not send anyone home last week, not this week. Why else would they design two challenges that were clearly planned for 12 chefs in a row? Last week, they divided into 4 teams of 3 chefs and this week there were 12 days but only 11 chefs. As far as I can tell, no one did "4 Calling Birds". Had they not sent anyone last week, it would have worked out perfectly. Methinks something funny is up in Top Chef-land.

And yes, I loved it that they all have been helping each other out this season. I think not sending anyone home was the right way to go for sure.

1. Yeah, pretty weird, and the fact that they are in NYC running around/shopping in shorts I thought was funny... because we all know it's not warm in NYC during Christmas.

2.I like Ariane, but I don't think she will win or even have a chance. She can cook meat really well, and I'd definitely let her cook a steak for me, but otherwise she's not creative and definitely not what a Top Chef should be.

3. Arroz Con Pollo, sometimes if I'm wanting to get rid of other stuff in the fridge I'll add other veggies and meats... sometimes it will even resemble a homemade jambalaya. Also, chicken noodle soup.... there's soooooo much you can add/get away with.

4. Yeah, I thought it was nice but I doubt it will last. Once they weed out the last few "wannabe chefs" then the hardcore competitors aren't going to be so "helpful" to each other.

5. I thought the gospel choir was weird and unnecessary.

6. The ladies dancing I think is hardest.

7. I thought it was great that they helped out, but call me pessimistic, I don't think that "team work" and desire to help will last much longer.

8. I liked Hosea's dish a lot.

9. Yeah, I was surprised and disappointed.

10. Hard to tell, with the editing I think most likely Eugene or Rahdika... they seem to be two of the weakest.

1.Yeah, I think its funny to seem them all trying to be in the holiday spirit in August.
2.I am happy Arianne has redeemed herself. I don't know if she'll win, but I like her winning for now.
3. My one-pot dish is roast beef in the crockpot with potatoes and carrots. Yum!
4.i like that they trust each other to taste the other's dishes.
5.The gospel choir was weird and just seemed to eat up time.
6.i think the Ladies dancing or the Lords a leaping were the hardest
7.I LOVED that they all helped Rhadika and Hosea. You know if Marcel or Hung had been in that cast they wouldn't have helped. Stefan had the best point, you want to win on fair terms, not because someone else got screwed
8.I either wanted to try Stefan's or Rhadika's dishes.
9.Ok, this pissed me off! You make a point to show how much everyone sucked and how disappointed you are, then you say no one has to go home! It was stupid!
10.I think at this point Eugene will go home, though I'm REALLY sick of Jaime's whining.

First, Martha Stewart is creepy. "we go diving for scallops every year in maine" and her other personal tidbits to tell the chefs in her monotone voice, good for you martha your a rich celebrity who does all sorts of amazing things we get it. I thought her criticism of Fabio was way out of line "your mushroom polenta, i wanted to SEE the mushrooms" WTF? her choosing Arianne was a no brainer, she hates men so none of them would win.

The Choir? overboard. The challenge? ridiculous. And then Tom has the Balls to chide them about not putting their all into the dishes, that they arent showing enough of themselves, How could they Tom? your tossing at them food challenges that are a) catering jobs , where they have to prep their food ahead of time, and then make onsight in big numbers, alot of times the love gets lost in that equation and b) set up to fail, dishes inspired by the 12 days of christmas? really? I dare anyone to put "themselves" into a challenge that is so uninspired and laughable, Its why not ONE dish was amazing.

I am dissapointed that No one went home, Jamie needed to be gone.

ugh, I really dislike Jamie. I was hoping she would get the boot this week. She comes off so condescending to the other chefs but then all she cooks are scallops!! In the words of Fabio "This is Top Chef, not Top Scallop!"

This particular show was insanely predictable. With the Harlem Choir WTF moment, I guessed that they'd have to do the lyrics for their challenge. And when that fridge mishap happened, I figured there was no way they could penalize anyone at that point because everyone used up their prep time to help out the worst hit contestants.

I disliked the one pot challenge. Martha rewarded two people who didn't really make a one-pot dish. Technically, they used one pot, but one-pot cooking is about cooking the ingredients together at or around the same time...like the stew or the paella.

I love the European dynamic duo!
Oh and did anyone else think that Natasha's red dress was wayyyy too low-cut??

It was pretty low, but she definitely pulled it off.

I wish I could have seen it, but I was in the 20-hour trench between two giant law school exams.

1. it definitely is a bit odd - but at least they are pretending to be in the spirit of things!
2. i LOVE her. i think that she's really consistent, and maybe not the most innovative, but she's got some talent...obviously
3. i don't really have one. i'm a veggie which means that i get stuck with the go to tomato veggie pepper mixtures
4. it was nice - they are finally acting like a family
5. to be honest - it was a bit distracting and to see the chef's faces - it wasn't like they enjoyed it either

Yes!! I think it is so cute and nice that they will take care of each other even though it is a competition. IMHO, it doesn't matter who wins the title because who you win as a friend is the most important thing as cheesy as that sounds.

It's so strange watching all these holiday shows knowing it was filmed months ago & you can see on the cheftestant's faces how bizarre it is for them too. Especially strange all the xmas decor at that fundraising party...that's a bit much!

I am liking Adriane more & more, and disliking Jamie more & more too.

Very strange no one went home especially since the food was so bad, but they did good helping everyone out w/the fridge disaster, so I guess it was kind of fitting in a way...maybe 2 people will go next week...
