Piccalilli
A pickle relish popular in England, India, and certain regions of America that is composed of chopped vegetables and spices. British versions contain cauliflower, squash, turmeric, and mustard, and often accompany cold meats. American versions, with chopped gherkins, onions, and other vegetables, tend to be sweeter, and may be used in rémoulades or to top hot dogs.

i love piccalili, in the netherlands here we sometimes eat it with french fries instead of ketchup, delicious! but then again that might just be a weird tradition.
1i see it all over the place but i've been too weirded out by the colour and the name... maybe i'll try some... ...i actually think there might be a jar in the house. O_o
2mm looks good!
3i've never heard of this - it's an interesting concept - although i don't know if i would necessarily be into it. i always enjoy learning about foods that are common elsewhere in the world, and then when i see how they've managed to creep into our lives here - it's just fun..
