I've got good news for those of you who think water is too plain. Pur water filter systems have come up with a new way to add flavor to your water. With the new Pur Flavor Options, you can now add a splash of strawberry, peach or raspberry to each glass. The flavor cartridge fits into the Pur filters like a regular cartridge and if you're not sure which flavor to try, there's a helpful quiz to determine what your flavor is.
Each flavor cartridge is good for 75 servings of flavor with no added sugar, calories or dyes. Sounds pretty interesting, but I have to ask, what is wrong with plain water?

When I'm at work, I down water bottles with flavor packets into them by the ton, I swear. I could see myself enjoying this at home as well! But what happens when I need plain water for a recipe or something?

3I like using the packets, as they allow me to choose when I want flavoured and when I want unflavoured!
4i prefer plain water. but i guess if you're in the mood for something sweet but not totally sugary like juice it'd be a good alternative. you could probably make really good popsicles with the water.
5Sometimes there's nothing like a glass of ice water, but others when water is one of the few beverages you drink, it gets bland quick. Especially when I'm eating spicy foods, I need some flavor to cleanse my palate.
I think this is a good concept, but I wouldn't want 75 straight glasses of any flavor water, I like variety! I'll stick with the flavor packets!

It is not filtered flavor water, it is just a play on words as they are targeting the health nuts. It is flavoring that is pumped into the flow of the water after the "water" has been filtered and then the whole mess is passed out the same spout.
A kitchen faucet is not designed for the type of pressure this system will put on the faucet.
Changing that flavor cartridge to suit everyones taste and that pushing on the faucet.....
Oh boy I can see a major recall or class action suit once everyones faucet starts to leak and or pull out.
Go into your Kitchen and press lightly on your kitchen faucet and think to yourself how long will your kitchen faucet tolerate that kind of abuse.
Buy one if you want, but I shame proctor and gamble for a very bad design and I wonder how much testing they actually did, if any.
11I wonder whether those flavorings are natural...in order to make them taste sweet, they're probably using *some* sweetener (NutraSweet, Splenda, etc.), too.
Thanks but no thanks, Pur. If I need flavor in my water, I'll go for the tried-and-true lemon slices and a dollop of agave nectar.
