Once every two or three months. There isn't a good Chinese place around here. We have a pretty good Japanese place, but it's on the other side of town and they don't deliever. I'd just as
soon go home and make something.
I can see where you are coming from, Party — sometimes I wonder, why am I paying for takeout when I can have the restaurant experience for almost the same price?! That said...I still get
takeout a lot. Especially when I'm busy. I have so many favorite restaurants...most of them are neighborhood spots and have great Eritrean, Thai, Korean...
Every day?? Holy crap, that would be expensive. We do takeout maybe once every two or three months, mostly for special occasions or when I really don't feel much like cooking. Or when my
husband has a huge craving for General Tso's chicken, lol.
I *just* realized after reading this...I haven't ordered takeout since almost 6 years ago!
I can't eat most fast food anymore for my health, and I have to study everything that's in a dish b/c I'm allergic to some things...so I do better going out to eat at restaurants. But even
then, we only do that maybe 2x a month!
Definitely like the food that I prepare better, though!
i used to get it more frequently when i lived alone since it's SO EASY to do here in NYC - but my fiance doesn't really care for it - so we're either cooking at home or eating out.
Well does Tuna and yellowtail sashimi and black cod count as 'take out'
In london the best places offer home delivery... although to be honest I was a bit annoyed at spending £250 the other night on sushi for 4 people.. and we ate infront of the tv. Id rather
have it there and have a napkin on my lap for that money!
My husband and I used to hate "takeout", we either "eatout" or we cook at home. Now that the kids are older - they prefer "takeout" a lot more. They can watch TV / play games as soon as they
finish dinner.
When I was in England, there was one week (concert week at the Symphony) where I stopped by the same kebab van every day for dinner after rehearsal. That 6 times in one week is the most I've
ever done. By the end of it, the guys in the truck recognized me, and I never had to articulate my order again.
My boyfriend used to order take out food about 4-5 times a month. I liked it but eventually I could not eat that much anymore because I getting kinda fat. I got Mcdonalds last night for the
first time in like 2 months.
Once every couple of months for us. We make grilled pizza every Friday night for pizza/movie/game night (yes, every Friday - we are nerds and we like it!). We cook all of the time and the bf
isn't a huge fan of Chinese so I savor the Chinese takeout evenings!!
If we're going to eat restaurant food, I'd rather just go there and eat and have a drink at the bar. We usually go out to eat once every couple of weeks, but probably only get takeout once a
month if that.
I think I like the "idea" of eating takeout more than actually eating it. For example I'll be dreaming of Chinese takeout, salivating over it and excited as hell over getting it. the I get
it, look at it and eat it. That's when i rememeber why I don't orer it often. Greasy, fried, salty or something unpleasant. How quickly I forget these things. But by next month someone says
"Takeout" and I'm back to square one.
Its def around once a week (usually on the weekends), the rest of the week eating out and homecooked meals (and leftovers!). All the food in that pic looks duh-lishuz, btw...
Sometimes when you live alone in the city- take out is cheaper. I usually cook for health reasons -but I do take-out once or twice a week. It actually saves me money- unless I was willing to
eat my cooking everyday for a few days. Depends on what you get too.
Two years ago, I ate out or had take-out a least three times a week. Luckily, I started dating and am now engaged with a man who knows how to cook and does it at least 6 days a week. I even
attempt it myself sometimes!

About 2-3 times a month. I wish I could afford to more often!
1lol a couple times a month is "occasionally". I was thinking in my head, "I get take out a lot - almost every Saturday!"
I didn't realize people ate that stuff every day
2Maybe once or twice a month, if that. The thing is, apart from the cost, I'm always a little disappointed in the food.
3Never. I only eat out maybe every in 6 months, if that.
4Prob just once a year. I is po'
5Almost never. That spread does look great though
6I order take out like twice a week, I'd probably be rich if I'd just cook lol Oh well I can't live without my Chinese takeout

8Surprisingly it's almost never for me! I cook or eat out. The thing I order out the most is pizza and that is probably once every six weeks.

18Does bringing home a dozen bacon wrapped hot dogs count?????
192 or 3 times a month for me, I don't mind cooking for myself but I sometimes I just get so tired of my food or feel lazy and want take out lol

21Almost never. Maybe once six months ago when hubbie craved pizza.

23Maybe once every three months or so. On my budget it's much more practical for me to cook. It's a shame though, because I loved having food delivered.

25About once a week -- luckily though, the portions are usually big enough so that it lasts for at least to meals, which is definitely worth the money.
26Maybe once a month...

28Maybe once per week if that, but I prefer to cook our meals at home.

33NOW my answer is occasionally..it's good to treat yourself when you don't feel like cooking but I don't like to do it all the time.
