The last time that I had an energy drink I was on day five of 15-hour days, on my feet the whole time, with four hours of sleep. It was a dire situation. Other than that, I don't think I'd
had one for at least a year.
I used to have energy drinks as a mixer with alcohol. It was my choice of drink at the bars until I had a very bad hangover and couldn't sleep. So, I was sitting there watching tv, bleary,
and couldn't sleep my headache away. Ugh. Awful. I know...should have known better...
I used to drink them a good bit. Espcially on days when I had touble sleeping. One day I sat down and read the ingredients in the energy drink I was drinking. The sugar contents were sky
high. I quit after that.
i've had one red bull and didn't like the way it made me feel. it just seems to me that most of those drinks are full of things that are necessarily good for you. i'm not judging those who
drink them, to each his/her own. but i'll stick w/my morning java thank you!
I had a rockstar and Monster once. Both of them made me really nauseous. Other people has the same side effect, but still drink it! Besides, they taste pretty crappy. The only energy drink I
get is a doubleshot expresso!
Coffee is my only caffeine vice...and i drink a lot of it...i doubt it is any better for me than an energy drink, but i like to think it is a bit more natural.
I'm not into these kinds of stimulants. I don't drink coffee. I don't drink too many sugary drinks. I try to rely on rest, water, and good health to keep my energy up.
I drank them constantly in law school...since graduating I have scaled back quite a bit, but still probably have 1 or maybe 2 a week. I actually like the taste of some of them.
Red Bull and Vodkas on the weekends--or cherry bombs--thats it! When I see people chugging red bulls and monsters during the day it makes me sick--or want to drink--haha
No, energy drinks contain not just caffeine but an overdose of B vitamins. There's a lot of heart problems associated with long-term use of energy drinks. One of the girls at my high school
had a seizure from having too many energy drinks and it was scary! After I had to see that and be helpless (I'm normally the one seizing not the other way around), I swore to never have them.
It's too risky.
I don't like the taste of them first of all, and most of them also contain a lot of sugar.
But more importantly, I am not a fan of anything artificial to wake you up. I avoid caffeine too.
I think that if you're tired, you need to sleep more, or exercise. That HAS to be the healthier option.
sometimes when I have had another sleepless night and need a perk me up but I been switching more to coffee lately actually. I still grab a red bull when partying too.
Heart problems so no, I have to stay away from major stimulants. I used to drink it back when I was a raver (ah, the kandy kid years)but after a while I would get major chest pains and
palpitations. So now I steer clear.
I drink them fairly often. I get as much sleep as I can but I work two jobs, volunteer a lot, and try to work out every day. Sometimes there just aren't enough hours in the day to get in the
sleep that I want!
I just like the taste of coffee much better. I tried one of those energy drinks and didn't care for the taste of it. Now I kind of associate all those drinks like that.
I used to drink them pretty frequently, but I was also consuming a lot of caffeine in general back then.
Now I'll have one if it's been a long day and I want to party or sometimes on the day after the party as a pre-hike energy spike. Ok, and also on days when I've got dance performances booked
all day (but also lots of water!!). But def no more than once a week (if that).
Ew, God no. If I want a pick me up the closest thing I'll get to an "energy drink" is coffee. I'm pretty sure they'll come out with a study in a few years talking about how Red Bulls give you
some kind of weird cancer.
Okay. No, I don't drink energy drinks. I don't like the way they taste, and I think all that caffeine is dangerous. I especially don't mix alcohol with energy drinks, I think mixing a
depressant with caffeine is probably not good for your bod. If I need caffeine, I'll grab a diet Dr. Pepper or some black or green tea... on occasion, a latte. But generally I try to stay
away from caffeine all together.
No, I'd rather get a burst of energy from a muesli bar or a piece of fruit! Caffeine doesn't really seem to effect me either, but if I needed some I'd have a cup of tea.

4only those 6hr energy shots. they work but on a half empty stomach i got the jitters.
5Only when doing jager bombs. So pretty infrequently, maybe once a year, max.
6Nope - never! They are one vice I stay away from. Coffee - and lots of it - is usually my caffeine of choice!
7Coffee is cheaper and feels less scary since it's not neon.
8I had a rockstar and Monster once. Both of them made me really nauseous. Other people has the same side effect, but still drink it! Besides, they taste pretty crappy. The only energy drink I get is a doubleshot expresso!
9i've never really been one for energy drinks - i don't know why - but i just haven't ever gotten on that band wagon.
10Coffee is my only caffeine vice...and i drink a lot of it...i doubt it is any better for me than an energy drink, but i like to think it is a bit more natural.
11I stick to caffeine when I need a boost.

13On a very, very, VERY rare occasion, I might have a Red Bull. Otherwise, no...I hate them.
14Sometimes but I often get chest pains from too much...
15I drank them constantly in law school...since graduating I have scaled back quite a bit, but still probably have 1 or maybe 2 a week. I actually like the taste of some of them.
16I used to drink red bull every single day for about a year (along with 1-2 cups of coffee/day). I've completely cut back and now only stick to tea.
17Never - I don't like them. They are sooo not good for you.
18Red Bull and Vodkas on the weekends--or cherry bombs--thats it! When I see people chugging red bulls and monsters during the day it makes me sick--or want to drink--haha
19waay to much caffeine!
20I've never had an energy drink, but I don't put caffeine in my body. After I gave it up, I felt so much better and so I won't go near an energy drink!

28if I'm going to get calories from a beverage it had better get me drunk.

30First off, cupcakegal, GORGEOUS pic!!

31I don't think they taste all that great and when I did drink them I would get a stomachache afterwards.
32They seem so unnatural. I don't want to be putting all that chemical garbage in my body.
33Only if it's a freebie. Most of them are so nasty and full of toxic junk.
34Does a bloody mary count?
35I buzz after a cup of coffee...I can't cope with large amounts of caffeine.
36I drink a lot of energy drinks and coffee. I am a college student with a full time job though...
