Tuna. I don't eat beef or pork, so I eat chicken pretty regularly... therefore if I want a "salad" I opt for the tuna. In fact, I made some last week! I try to stay away from the restaurant
or deli kind though -- it's never the same and you never know how they make it. In fact, one time I got the tuna salad at a deli near my work and it had giant peppercorns in it... I was
thoroughly disgusted.
Well I like both. But I prefer homemade chicken salad, especially mine In fact I
didnt even know they made a canned chicken product until I was in my 20s.
I like both. Depends on what the situation is. I can't have tuna-breath sometimes, so I'd rather go with the chicken. Otherwise, I could go with either...why wasn't that an option in the
poll.
I agree, canned tuna is sometimes iffy. I always prefer chicken salad, but I never have the time to chop up left over chicken. And then it's hard to make sure that the chicken salad actually
taste like chicken and not tuna salad. So, using tuna is 10x easier.
I like both, but I don't really ever buy them cause I HATE when they have chopped up celery in them. Thats pretty much a staple, so usually I stick to tuna sandwiches lol.
I would love to eat Tuna Salad but since my gastric bypass my stomach and small intestines cannot handle Tuna anymore. I get incredibly sick. And for a person who grew up eating Tuna in every
imaginable way it is upsetting.
So I switched to Chicken Salad and Turkey Salad. My digestive tract is okay with those too.
I love my either Tuna, Chicken or Turkey salad with mayo, finely minced celery, minced red onion, a bit of scallion, diced tomato with the seeds removed, some seasoning but no celery seed,
and sometimes if I want extra crunch shredded carrot. Oh yes ans a squeeze of fresh lemon juice and touch of spicy mustard.
Since I don't eat too many different types of fish, I like to eat tuna salad as a way to get in my oily fish. It's a lot easier to make than chicken salad and it's pretty tasty. I find
chicken salad to be pretty bland usually.
Instead of mayo, I combine cream cheese and yoghurt, or feta and yoghurt, with lots of spices and herbs. I never use mayo anymore, but sometimes a little Miracle Whip, again mixed with
yoghurt.
I've actually managed to live some 20 years without ever having chicken salad. I'm not particularly a fan of tuna, though, so I'd definitely have to pick the chicken. Haha.
i don't eat either, but i guess if i weren't a vegetarian (thinking back to when i was a kid) i would have to say that i was a tuna person and not a chicken salad person.
I wish there was a "Both!" option. I picked chicken salad because I will order that more than I'll order tuna if I am out at a restaurant for lunch, but I love to make both at home. I make
them so differently that its hard to choose a favorite!

12I picked chicken salad, but I enjoy tuna salad too! Actually, they sell canned turkey and that makes one mean salad. You should try it sometime!

17I love a good chicken salad (has to be big chunks of chicken and fixins and minimal mayo).
I've just never liked tuna.

So I would say tuna with lots of Miracle Whip salad dressing.
