If I do purchase, it'll usually be for me to give to someone else. I try not to buy anything for myself (except for Cadbury Cream Eggs around Easter) and usually other people like my mom send
me all the themed candy I could want.
I always buy seasonal candy. When I was in collage my friends said going to my house was like going to a grandma's house because of the themed candy bowls.
Only AFTER said holiday is over...I buy the 50% off Halloween candy, Christmas candy, V-day candy, etc. the day after the holiday so I can get a good deal. I don't really eat much of it, but
my husband loves it.
I live in Germany, and Lindt for example makes some delicious chocolate specialties that you can only get around Christmas, so of course I buy them then
they wouldn't be special if you could buy them all year.
As for M&Ms, where only the color is different from the regular ones.. I only buy them if I decorate seasonal cupcakes with them, or if I had planned on buying them anyway.
i do sometimes, but to be honest, it's not because i seek it out, it's because that's all that a store has. i had to get valentine's peanut m&m's the other day since that's all they had.
I send "bunny bags" and "bunny boxes" to my nieces and nephews at Easter with small packages of candy, but otherwise I generally buy it the day after on clearance for chopping up to put in
cookies. I also buy the special October Breast Cancer Awareness packages of M&Ms, especially for my niece who adores the color pink. Oh, and yes, I do buy Peeps on clearance for exploding in the microwave...the scrubbing
involved in the clean-up is a great stress reliever! LOL

2Depends on my mood, but I usually wait until it's on clearance!
3Usually no, I don't really buy candy at all. Although I have been known to crave a Cadbury egg...mmm....

8My mom buys it for me all the time! I love colored m&m's and candy canes at christmas. but they are kind of my weakness. keep them away from me!
9cinnamon hearts baby!

12Sometimes -- mostly Christmas and Halloween.
13I buy it all on clearance...since I work at Target I get it extra cheap!
14I have kids. There's no way to avoid the issue, lol.
15I had Steeler M&M's at my super bowl party? Does that count?
16HoneyBrown, I completely concur! When you have kids, you have candy, it's a no-brainer!
17Generally, no.

19No...I'm not a candy person really. The only time of year I buy it is at Halloween and it's to give out to the kids!
20Yes! Cadbury eggs, candy canes, cinnamon hearts and conversation hearts. Not for the kids, but mainly for me

23I'm really not a fan of the candies at checkouts, but I almost always buy V-Day M&Ms because they're just so darn pretty.
