With summer on its way I thought I'd share with you one of my most simple tips. If you love a glass of iced coffee, but hate when it gets all watery, then do yourself a favor and make coffee ice cubes. By making coffee ice cubes you'll ensure your iced coffee won't get diluted and you'll have a good use for this morning's leftover coffee. Just use a clean ice tray, fill with coffee and freeze. Once frozen, remove cubes from the ice trays and put into a large ziploc style freezerbag (this helps protect it from that nasty freezer smell/taste). Use them instead of regular ice cubes and ta da! No more watery iced coffee for you!

That's brilliant!
1Even though I don't drink coffee, this is a great idea for lemonaid and teas.
2LOL ... I've been doing this for years! Hubby likes his coffee a LOT cooler than I do so I started making Coffee Cubes - his brothers and friends are so jealous, haha.
3Yeah, it obviously works for other liquids as well. I haven't even thought about it before, but it sure is brilliant.
4i never thought of that before! thanks Yum!
5That is a fantastic solution!
6I hadn't thought of this either, but, duh, what a great idea--thanks!
7great idea
8Great tip! Theyd add a boost of color to the iced coffee as well.
9Mmmmmmm...will definitely have to try! I'll have to do this with iced tea and lemonade and all kinds of drinks!
10That's such an amazing idea...I'm getting started on it today!
11This is also a good tip to do with leftover wine (if there is any LOL) or broths.
Also, my step-son has ADHD and some coffee (and I just mean a little in some milk) in the morning actually helps him to calm himself and pay attention better, so this will be a great idea for him to get the caffeine without the milk getting too hot tasting from the coffee.
12I did this all last summer and thought that I was SO Brilliant for thinking it up. I caught a lot of heat from my boyfriend, who thought I was a little too insane about my coffee. (He doesn't drink any coffee, so he just doesn't understand!)
But--remember at the end of the summer to remove the ice cubes from the tray. I forgot about them when the weather turned and I stoped drinking my coffee iced--only to have guests over one night for a party and they stumbled upon them in one of my ice trays. They thought I was a bit crazy....
13I just started to do this. It's great.
14I'd heard this before, but completely forgot about it!
Thanks...doing it tomorrow when I make chocolate coffee!
15great idea!

17what a great idea!!!
18LOVE it!
19Oh! That is so clever!
20Thanks a lot for the tip, I'll try it out!
