I love dip! But I am picky I guess, and don't really buy it from your average supermarket. there is a gourmet supermarket in my neighborhood that makes the best spinach dip that I could live
on! Of course I would not be so healthy, but I would be smiling!
I did on Superbowl Sunday because I was being lazy and it was horrible.
I do love the ones from Trader Joe's, but they are always so fattening, that I usually prefer to make my own.
I usually buy dips but one of my favorite ones is also the simplest: low-fat sour cream mixed with a packet of powdered ranch dressing! It's great for veggies and chips.
Sometimes it's easy to grab a container of it, especially when headed to someone elses place for a party but I definitely make my own dips when I'm at home - even salsa. It just tastes soooo
much better.
I usually like to make my own, but if time doesn't permit I like to buy the gourmet kind (and at least 1 sour cream kind because those are so popular with guest...ok, so I'm the one that ends
up snarfing it all down myself.lol)
Man, looking at that pic I want me some chips and dip now. Mostly because I just ate this pheasant chili and all I could think of was "this needs a dollop of sour cream on it".
I make my own dip using the packaged powdered dip mixes and nonfat plain yogurt. It's very low calorie and NO ONE can tell the difference. I usually bring it with me to parties and most
people think it's made with sour cream and mayo.
i don't really eat dip, so i don't buy or make it. the only 'dip' type thing that i've bought is humus and i think that it's almost allowed. i know lot of people that have managed to mess up
their home made versions.
I don't care for chips and dip. I buy dip occasionally to have with crudites or use sometimes to spread on the base of a wrap. If I do buy it I only get a small tub. I can't actually remember
the last time I made it myself...might have to have a go next time I want some dip!
I usually just buy the premade sour cream dips as they're convenient and I only serve dips usually at parties.
There are a few dips that can't be bought premade though that I love to serve. Shrimp cocktail dip for one. And potted beef dip is big at family events (though something i'd never serve to
friends or coworkers).

I don't generally do dip, but in the rare occasion that I do I prefer homemade or gourmet dip :]
1I have an obsession with dips, I love them store bought and homemade, but when I host a party, I almost always make one.
2I don't dip my chips. I only like dip with crudités and I always make my own.

7We normally do the package of onion dip mixed into a container of sour cream. It's tasty and everyone likes it!

10I do both! I'm with Party...I love dips. Can't get enough of them. In fact, I hate it when I still have chips left and I run out of dip!
11either, or, whatever
12dip rocks
Love store dip, love home made dip. I love chips and dip in all shapes and forms.
13Store bought. Unless you count mixing Velveeta and Tostitos Salsa as a homemade dip
14the store bought is never as good as home made dip!!
15No dip for me.
16I could have dip and chips for dinner. I love to make or buy it as long as it's good.
17I either do store-bought or make one with one of the seasonings from Tastefully Simple. The Bacon Bacon is always a hit!

20I'm usually lazy and buy mine but sometimes I'll make it.
21I don't let myself have chips and dip often, but when I do it doesn't really matter where it comes from, as long as it tastes good.
22I don't care for chips and/or dip much but when I do buy some, I buy the store brands. matter of fact, the one pictured

26I'm not really a dip person so when I do have it, store bought works best.
27I love homemade guac, tzatziki, hummus, and any spicy salsa, especially tomatillo.
