i'm a ketchup fanatic. i used to only use it on certain things but i think that i could eat it by itself at this point. i don't know what it is - maybe the vinegar in it or something - not quite sure.

love only heinz ketchup.

I don't love it like your friend, but it's a good condiment.

I use it with french fries and on burgers and hotdogs.
My mom hates ketchup! She is from Germany and they just didn't use it when she was growing up and she thinks it is gross.
My dad's family lived in Iowa and used it on everything. Porkchops, eggs, meatloaf, chili, sandwiches, mac and cheese, popcorn, and potato chips all got doused with ketchup. (Kind of makes me gag!)
I like to think that me and my brothers and sisters are the combination of them and use it in moderation... on french fries, burgers, and hotdogs as was intended!

I hate ketchup. We don't even have it in the house. Mustard is MY addiction.

I am a Pittsburgh girl so I have to have Heinz! Any other Ketcup I can taste the difference and will not use!

It's Ketchup... *shrug* I'm not crazy about it, but I don't hate it either. Though, I love my Curry-Ketchup. It's great on fries and for BBQs - and really important for my "Bolognese sauce" *g*

EWWW to the "heinz" comment by Emo. I HATE heinz unless it's organic. How could any person think that High Fructose Corn Syrup tastes good in ketchup??? It's such a simple and delicious (and nutritious with lycopene, etc) when it's made naturally and without chemicals. OK off my soap box.

Lauren, I agree completely! Most "normal" ketchups are so sweet because of HFCS, it's like adding syrup to your fries.

I saw my friend once put ketchup on grilled cheese and I thought she was out of her mind. Turns out she puts ketchup on everything which I still think is a little weird.

I love ketchup. I'll put it on just about anything- though I haven't tried popcorn. About 2 months ago, I overheard someone say they went through a bottle of ketchup *a week* because her daughter loved it so much. I use it a lot, but not that much. I also agree that Heinz is the way to go. I don't know what it is, but I just don't like Hunt's.

I'm with the posters who only like Heinz, me too! I won't eat any other kind of ketchup! I love it myself, so do my kids. My husband is grossed out by ketchup.

I've never had organic ketchup, honestly, but I'm sure it also tastes great.
(Probably because the whole "organic craze" didn't start until the late '90s, and prior to that, the only way to get organic anything was to make it yourself.)

Heinz is great, but I'm sure ANY ketchup recipe would require sugar (rather than HFCS). It's probably necessary to cut the vinegar taste, not necessarily to make it sweet.

As a kid, though, I was definitely asked on more than one occasion, "Want some fries with that ketchup?"

I hate it. It's got HFCS in it, which makes it too sweet for my tastes. I prefer salsa...all the lycopene, no added sugar. More kick as well.

i love it!!! my boyfriend thinks it's crazy how much of it i can go through in no time at all. we're always either out or almost.

We had a person order a grilled cheese at work the other day, and the waitress came back with some ketchup and asked us to put it on the sandwich before it went out...as if we weren't grossed out enough, she came back after she brought his food out and said when she went out there he was eating a spoonful of straight ketchup! He told her, "I love this stuff...I just can't get enough!"

I'm indifferent. I like it on some things (e.g. fries, meatloaf, burgers); but, on anything else (e.g. hot dogs) it's a no-no. Also, I'm partial to Heinz ketchup.

I used to hate it. I would cringe whenever I saw someone put ketchup on fries. Nowadays though, I find myself enjoying just a little with the food that calls for it, ie. fries, hotdog, burger. though I think it's due to my expanding tste range. i used to hate curry but now i love it too. though i won't go through bottles in one week.

I used to be a Heinz devotee but I hate HFCS so I tried the Trader Joe's organic ketchup and it's all I'll use now.

I use TJ's ketchup or salsa.

I actually only use ketchup on fries, and I only eat them once or twice a year.

I hate all condiments. I was at a restaurant the other night and I thought I'd just give ketchup one more try, and I dipped my fork in it and had to take a gulp of water right away! It's so nasty!

I have a friend who loves ketchup, but I can't stand the stuff. (Ironically, I like tomatoes and she hates them). My condiment for fries is barbecue sauce. Everyone thinks I'm weird because I don't like ketchup, good to know there are others out there!

I hate ketchup. I'm not a big mustard fan, but at least a little of a nice honey or dijon mustard on the right sandwich is good. Ketchup, in my opinion, ruins everything. And when something comes with it, there's always so much! I like tomatoes, but ketchup is so sweet and gross.

I love ketchup, use it on scrambled eggs, hot dogs, hamburgers, with fries, hashbrowns, on top of meatloaf. I get the low sugar kind because regular is just too sweet and i never buy heinz because i cant stand John Kerry and his wife.

I hate ketchup, as well as most other condiments. Guess I'm just a plain person. But seriously if anything even touches ketchup I won't eat it.I've never liked, even when I was little I wouldn't go near the stuff.
