I'm not going to lie; I'm looking forward to Cinco de Mayo for one true reason. So I can eat as much as I want of the cool, creamy, and spicy gastronomic delight known as seven-layer dip. And I'm not alone: the writers at Evite love seven-layer dip so much that they created a dessert version of it, with peanut butter, Nutella, marshmallows, shredded coconut, chocolate chips, salted peanuts, and gummy bears, to serve with Ritz crackers and Nilla wafers. Does this sweet-tooth version seem like something you could dig into?

Marc Jacobs
Tomster

Eh probably not. I'm not a fan of Nutella. This seem like something a little kid would put on their ice cream at a buffet.
For some reason this does not sound appetizing to me at all.
LOL. It's funny, just this afternoon I went to the Ice Cream Parlor and I watched a kid load-up his creamy desert and it looked something very similar of that image. I couldn't stop laughing. He was like a kid in a candy shop (eh, Ice Cream Shop).
What's not to like on that sweetly dish. I'd enjoy ever bite, and eat every morsel if I was 10 years younger and had the metabolism to match.
drooling
Wow, that is so cool! I will totally be serving the sweet version and the orginal savory version at my Cinco de Mayo party.
Let's throw a little crumbled up oreos on top just to be sure we get our required daily amount of sugar!
No I wouldn't eat it for one simple reason - I HATE HAZELNUTS/FILBERTS, THEREFORE I HATE NUTELLA.
The stuff makes me gack.
Replace the Nutella with almond butter or peanut butter and it moves from a no to a maybe.
Just looking at that puts me in a sort of diabetic coma. I think I'll pass on this one.
My teeth hurt after reading the description!
Bring it on!
You lost me at salted peanuts.
Sounds strange, but fun.
Replace the gummi bears with...anything else
and replace Ritz crackers with pretzels and we might have a winner
Take out the salty stuff and the gummy bears and I am soooo there.
I'll stick to the spicy comforty goodness of the original.
That sounds like a really bizarre combination, but I'd try one bite just to see how it tastes.
no need for the gummibears
I agree with others, I might try this if it didn't have gummi bears or nutella and not use Ritz crackers. Still an awful lot though.
the items in the dessert all sound good, but the way it looks makes me wanna gag. it really looks like a bunch of mini turds
i would have to pass. i'm typically rather adventurous but i do have to draw the line somewhere
blimey that looks quite full on, not sure if i could really bring myself to try it, gummy bears as well lol, ick. as im quite intrigued though i think id make myself give it ago, you never know what youd be missing out on if you didn't try i suppose.....
I'm not big on sweets.
This kinda reminds me of How I Met Your Mother when Lilly goes to visit Marshall's folks and put her in charge of the 7 layer salad with potato chips and gummi bears and mayo.
No, no way. I am not into sweets that much , so this would be overboard.
Bleck no! For some reason my tummy hasn't been handling really sweet foods lately, so just looking at that gives me a stomach ace.
wow...the layering possibilities are endless....yum....
I think it would be grossly sweet, plus some of the flavor combinations would just be repulsive. Peanut butter and gummy bears? EWWWW!
I have a sweet tooth - but this one is just too much.
I'm not really a sweets person, so this would be total overload for me.
i'd try it....but not sure if it would be something i would make tho.
I like gummie bears but it seems sweet overload to me.
I am a huge fan of desserts, but this one sounds disgusting! I wouldn't even try it and I'm curious...what's with the gummi bears?
I'd try it.
I'll pass on the coconut, but other then that it looks heavenly
I'll pass on the Nutella.
Just hand me a spoon and I'll give this thing a try.
yesss yes yes. well, minus the gummi bears, they hurt my teeth.
Sure I'd try it, why not? My six and three year old daughters would looooooove it though, I'll probably make it for them for a special occasion!
I'm not a sweets person but I would still give it a try. I think it would be better without the gummibears.
Im infamous for my huge sweet tooth so I would happily taste that sugary wonder!
But I've never tried Nutella... if I made it myself i'd replace it w/ whipped cream
No thanks. Maybe it's the gummy bears?
Only if you take out the coconut. Trade it with something else. I'm not much of a coconut fan so that would ruin the whole thing for me.
i don't eat dip. i don't get the fascination with adding extra calories to your meal.
I'll try it with graham crackers but minus the gummy bears and peanuts.
