From the time I first laid eyes on Dr Pepper-filled bubble gum decades ago, I've been a sucker for trying new chewing gum flavors. Although I've tried everything from Orbit Maui Melon Mint to Trident Splash Apple With Raspberry, I ultimately return to the tried-and-true Trident Original Flavor. It's always soft, and has the perfect amount of freshness without overpowering my tongue. Do you share the same feelings? What's your favorite chewing gum of all time?

Orbitz Sweet Mint — I can't live without it!!

2Extra is the brand... and fruity flavs are my fav.
3It's not in stores anymore that I can see, but my favorite gum was absolutely Tongue Splashers, the taste was just amazing. However, my favorite is Orbitz Sweet Mint, or Big Red.
4Excel minty types last longest and freshen breath best & i love Trident watermelon and tropical something...the green and orange packs! i've chewed that in a bar before and had countless men come up to me and tell me i smell awesome and ask for some...i went through 16 pieces one night
while i like delicious tasting gum, it often loses taste super fast so i don't buy it much...
5Favorite chewing gum of all time is Fruit Stripe Gum which is DOA now.
So now I chew Extra either classic bubble gum or peppermint. I chew probably 5 to 6 pieces a day.
If I want some other type of gum I chew Cry Baby Sour Gumballs.
I am a registered gum addict. Have been since my first piece of Bazooka when I was small.

8Extra is my fave in any of the minty flavors. It stays fresh, soft and strong longer than most of the chewing gums that I have tried.

12Stride is another favorite of mine because it lasts forever and you can eat the wrapper
For my least favorite, i'd half to say Ice Breakers:Ice Cubez because they have a good,zesty flavor but the gum is tasteless within 3 minutes!
Orbit Sweet Mint and Orbit Mint Mojito. They don't sell the Mint Mojito in the huge packs from Sam's Club though

15Fruit Stripe was the bomb! I wish they still made it, even though it was super sweet. My current favorite is Orbit Strawberry Mint, but I generally like anything that's fruity and sugar-free.
16Trident White Peppermint. I'm chewing it right now (I have about 6 pieces a day and can't live without it!) I can't stand fruity gum.
17I'm also in the cult of Orbit Sweet Mint. I think it tastes like mint chocolate, and I could easily go through a pack a day.
18Love the Orbit Sweet Mint too! Actually, I haven't tried a flavor of Orbit that I didn't like, but it's definitely my favorite. My fave when I was a kid, though - Bubbalicious Grape.

21My absolute #1 favorite is BlackJack, a licorice-flavored gum. Not easy to find and can therefore be expensive. My second favorite is Big Red or Doublemint. Definitely not a fan of spearmint or wintergreen gums.

25I love minty or cinnamin flavor gum, but prefer gums that are not sugar free which is actually quite hard to find! Sugar free brans hurt my belly
26orbit sweet mint, it tastes just minty enough to mask yuck breath (god forbid) and sweet enough to curb a craving!

31Extra Spearmint is my fav fav fav. I've had to cut back due to interactions with sorbitol so sometimes I chew Freedent Spearmint because it has a lot less sorbitol, it doesn't stay soft as long though so I just tend to not chew gum anymore.

33I go through phases of chewing gum -- sale, anyone? I am def. going to try Orbitz sweet mint, as so many seem to like it. Then, I'll go down the list and try the others!
34Definitely Trident Splash Strawberry and Lime..yum... I do find that Eclipse polar ice works better for breath freshening though.
35i'm a kid at heart...i love bubble gum. my 8 yr old son thinks it's hilarious when he picks trident and i'm getting bubbalicious or bubble yum. for some reason, i love rain-blo. big jaw breaker looking things but really bubble gum. for fresh breath and when i have to be an adult, i've always got a pack of orbit sweet mint in my pocketbook.
36Wow, I guess the Orbitz Sweet Mint wins! I have never tried it, but am definitely going to the store tomorrow to check it out!!!! I forgot about the Fruit Stripe Gum. I chewed a ton of it as a kid. I loved it then!! Currently I've been chewing Eclipe Spearmint, Trident White Spearmint, Dentyne Artic Chill and Trident White Peppermint. I use to chew Extra all of the time. Its the only gum that stays soft for a long time.
37Oh- and at one time I was OBSESSED with Bazooka bubble gum! I would buy a box and it would be gone within 4 days.
38Now I stick with sugar free though...
i love orbit, but i've found that 5 gum lasts longer. i'm a sucker for simple pepperminty flavors.
39Trident! Its good for your teeth and... ITS GOOD!
40I realized I like orbit the best. Trident and extra hurts my jaw after awhile and gets hard...
