With their dark brown color and wrinkly skin, raisins have never been one of my favorite foods. When I was a kid, the little red boxes were everywhere and I quickly grew sick of them. As an adult, I won't complain if they're served to me, but I don't cook with raisins at home. How do you feel about the ingredient?

Love, love them. They are a staple on my salads, I love to snack on them and rum raisin ice cream is my favorite flavor.
I enjoy raisins in things, like salads and cooked into baked goods, but I can't eat them plain.... strange, I know.
I don't eat raisins. I have never liked them.
I like the green raisins better myself.
However, I don't love or hate either. I'm pretty indifferent to them.
I wish I could vote 'hate them' more than once. Blech.
i cant stand them cooked, like if i accidently bite one i need to vomit. i wouldnt voluntarily choose to eat raw raisins, but it wouldnt bother me as much.
Got to have them in my soda bread.
Love them! They're nature's candy!
I love them but only uncooked. (except for when they're in Irish soda bread, otherwise I don't eat them cooked).
When I was a kid, my Dad had a couple of acres of Thompson Seedless grapes that he would lay out to make raisins, and I could not get enough of those! They were sweet and chewy and wonderful! The raisins in the boxes don't come close to the raisins I grew up on. I don't care for raisins in food, but I'll occasionally eat them.
I don't like the raisins in the little boxes, and I especially can't stand the ones in cereals. Too dry! But there are better raisins out there that I will happily eat.
I like them in cinnamon raisin bagels, but otherwise hate them.
Love them, especially (1) plumped up in water for 10 minutes and added to oatmeal, or (2) mixed with peanuts for a salty-sweet snack.
It's a love/hate relationship. I only like them in raisin bread or in carrot cake.
I'm sort of indifferent about them. Growing up, my dad always gave them to us as snacks, but he always let them get all hard and chewy, so I never liked eating them. I always liked them when they were fresh and soft...not so much when they were hard and chewy. I don't really eat them a lot now, but if they're in something I'm eating, I'll eat them.
I'm the polar opposite of Too_Posh: I love them on their own but hate them in anything. If I find a raisin in a bread or pastry, I'll pick it out.
I never was crazy about raisins, to be honest. I wouldn't mind eating them sometimes, but I wouldn't buy them myself.
Omg, I used to LOVE them as a kid -- as in, eat a box a day. Then my dad told me they made you poop and, being a little kid, I thought that was the grossest thing in the world. Now I'm trying to learn to like them again but it's not easy...there are still some things I just don't like to have with raisins. Plain dried cranberries are really good though.
To me, dry raisins are typically too hard. It's nicer to cook them in something - carrot cake, of course, or oatmeal. I throw a tablespoon or two of dry raisins into my oatmeal before I cook it on the stove, with a little extra milk. They plump up and take on the flavors that you add (cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar...mmm!).
I love the raisins I get at the organic market, but regular grocery store raisins are pretty hit or miss (often too dry). And I don't like raisins in my baked goods--cinnamon rolls & cookies I often refuse to order if they have raisins in them. But my husband adores them in his treats, so I'm working on tolerating them.
I'm not crazy about them but they're good.
hate them, but i do like apricots.
Love them!
Organic! Cinnamon raisin anything, carrot cake, oatmeal cookies with raisins
& walnut pieces, rum raisin ice cream (ie, "malaga" in GE), liebkuchen, stollen, etc. They do have a high glycemic index so everything in moderation.
not a fan. but i love alot of other dried fruits
I don't really eat them, but I hate them cooked into things. I can't even stand them in rum raisin ice cream. Something about the texture really skeeves me out.
Oh, but I like them in raisin bran.
in things but not alone
They're OK raw, but I hate them cooked.
I don't love or hate them, I'm in the middle. I won't eat them alone, but they're good in a salad or in cookies.
