Strawberries, most definitely. They just taste SO much better in the summer when they're nice and ripe. They're also a lot cheaper, so that's another big bonus.
I cannot pick just one. This week I've eaten strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, nectarines, and peaches almost in excess. I even made fruit bars to use up some of the
berries. I love summer fruit.
I will probably have to go with peaches - the local peaches here in VA are great - but I love everything mentioned in the poll, so it's a tough choice.
I have the good fortune to live in BC, in a town where a guy drives every weekend to the Okanagan to bring back and sell the best fruit I have every had. I look forward to plums and white
peaches (but last yr he didn't bring any white peaches; he said people never buy them), but I also look forward to making a trip to an Asian market and getting some lychees.
That was a really tough one because I love most fruit. But I choice raspberries since that's what I get the most excited about at the Farmers Mkt. Especially when there are golden
raspberries! MY FAV!
