Orgeat Syrup
A sweet syrup used to enhance cocktails with a strong almondy taste. Originally made with barley and almonds, today it's made with a mixture of almonds, sugar, rose water, and orange flower water.

Interesting.
1the bottle looks familiar but I've never heard of this stuff.
2French speciality that is not only used for cocktails but also just with fresh water or cold milk. Definitely the only syrup I need to drink at least once every season (I'm not at all a syrup kind of person)...
3Any idea where to buy this in the bay area (specifically south bay -- but I could travel north
)? I've never been able to find it...
4I've used this syrup in soy lattes and it is delish!
5thCourtneyd, is there a Beverages & More near you? You can find the syrup there, look for the location nearest to you. Hope that helps!
