Earlier this month we saw a behind the scenes video of The Hills star, Audrina Patridge, filming a new Carl's Jr. advertisement. The completed commercial was released yesterday. The ad is for the limited edition Teriyaki Burger and pays tribute to Patridge's amazing physique. She claims that she has to give up everything to have such a great bikini bod, but the one thing she can't live without is of course, the Teriyaki Burger with grilled pineapple. While I certainly don't believe that Patridge consumes burgers at the beach on a regular basis, I think she looks sexy and find the ad far less offensive than Paris Hilton's disgustingly seductive commercial. Check it out below and let me know what you think. Is it great or gross?

I don't think I've ever had a burger crunch like that. Plus, the size of it!!! IT'S THE SIZE OF HER HEAD!! ARGH!
1Segat1, I agree with the crunch part. There was some serious studio sound effect stuff going on there! She does look great, though.
2Audrina is certainly the most likable of the Hills girls, but I'd rather not watch miss ceiling eyes make mouth whopee with a 2000 cal burger.
I'm going to look up the Target Women/Sarah Haskins on Carls Jr. commercials to wash my eyes and brain out
3sound effect, thats definitely goin on. add to that, GROSS!!
4HA! She's not even eating the darn thing in the commercial. nothing gets on her lips. No maynoise, mustard, ketchup or even the freaking teriyaki. Even the lipstick remains untouched. And the gold bikini is just a lil too glimmery for my tastes.
She should eat a burger. She was looking mighty thin in some of that commerical.
Though its a far better commercial than PH's one, the only CJ's commercial's I like arethe one with the top Chef lady and the old one where the girl rides the mechanical bull.
5yea - i'm betting that she doesn't eat the burger - but i guess if they want to make that claim then that's ok.
6She sounds so bored.
7Yeah, she looks hot. Maybe that's what the strapline of "more than just a piece of meat" refers to. Meh. Adverts. I wish my burgers looked like that fresh out of the bag.
8This may be the worst voice over ever...I'll take Padma Lakshmi any day of this!
9audrina has such a great body...she needes to go fix her ceiling eyes though. lol, she's had plastic surgery on everything else anyway.
10I hate the Carl's Jr/Hardee's commericals.
11I honestly think all of the Carl's Jr. commercials are pretty stupid, and Audrina sounds just as wooden here as she does on The Hills. Boring.
12C-Minus List media non talent milking the last of her 15 minutes. Really can't blame her. She'll be doing Ty-D-Bol commercials with Jessica Simpson soon enough. The week after that media non talent's most recent failure to come.
13I like Carls Junior burgers...!
14Her voice over is so dry and lame.
15That Carl's Jr. burger has wayyy too much lettuce, but that's the worst thing I have to say about the commercial. And how was Paris Hilton's commercial offensive? Offensively stupid, yeah...
16She looks fab in that bikini, if a little on the skinny side. However, I don't believe she eats hamburgers, ever. Especially from a fast food joint - if one was really craving a hamburger, why not make one at home? It's way healthier, and you can still put grilled pineapple on it.
17Audrina you are the most beautiful..... love you baby, Funny how these ugly comments must come from those who dont know you very well, everybody loves Audrina. I do.....
18funny, with the crunch sound effect but the voice over she gave sounded about as boring as reading out loud in class.
and yeah... it looks like she doesn't even get any of that burger in her mouth.
19I'm sorry, Audrina is cute but this is everything that's wrong with body image in America... Girls that look like that absolutely DON'T eat huge, juicy, 840 calorie burgers on the regular. What they do is a number of unpleasant things to maintain an underweight body type. The irony is when one of them (like Audrina) tries to convince the rest of us to indulge in a very unhealthy fast food habit that's slowly killing Americans with cardiovascular and other health-related diseases, with the end result of her making a pretty sum of money and becoming "famous" for doing, well, practically nothing. I just don't get it.
20Correction: I do get it. Sex sells. "Fame" and recognition are no longer bestowed on those with talent (like things used to be in the eras of jazz legends and literature writing), but those with sex appeal. Advertisers get this, too. Thanks to such advertisers, we have an ever-growing statistic of overweight, unhealthy, cancer-ridden people who smoke + eat fast food. Okay phew, now it aaaaaaalllll makes sense
.
Sorry for the rant, all....
21Eating meat leads to erectile dysfunction, no joke.
Seriously, she is a disgusting hypocrite for this after doing a PETA.org animal adoption ad. She only has a concern for her bankroll which she might perceive as her actual worth with as depressingly misogynistic and shallow as the modeling cult is.
Additionally, the screams from the agonizing cow who provided that cheap, subsidized burger aren’t fully represented in this sex-driven message which says “speciesist murder is sexy & healthy” (maybe healthy for Carl’s Junior’s profits).
The reality of meat is that the world is being deforested, and many species going extinct, to provide the least healthful meals for the growing human population. Most obviously culpable are over-consumptive, parasitically privileged cultures of the "first world", typified with direct exploitation of the people and environment of the "third world". Consider that a cow has been brutally slaughtered for it. How is that appetizing, it's heinously cruel. Their pain comes back around, it won’t be forgotten!
22The corporate media channels exist to program us into drone consumers and generate more profits for fat cats who guiltily lounge in the exorbitant spoils of selfish oppression at other animals' and other human beings' expense. Please understand that "meat means animal abuse".
Going vegan is as easy as eating salad and being concerned for the wellness of each sentient being. Don't sleepwalk through your lifetime, wake up and smell the roses! Ethically, there are no excuses for continuing the devastation of our environment and innate suffering involved in exploiting animals for "food" or any other purpose to us. See veganthis.org or nutritionmd.org or rawveg.info
Vegans piss me off. Take your sanctimonious whining with you.
23Meat is bad. Corporations are bad. Sleepwalking is bad.
Blah blah blah.
Love Audrina in this new commercial. We actually went to Carls over the weekend to try the new burger, it is really good.
24Carl's Jr. demo is males 25-34. I'm a male between 25-34. Never having watched the show The Hills, I think its probably a safe bet Audrina's not the smartest gold bikini wearing girl on the beach, but I don't care- I'm going to go watch the video again! But the burger costs too much for these economic times, so I won't buy it.
25I have a problem with the crotch shot at the beginning of the commercial. She might as well do a spread in "Playboy". If a sexy woman wants to regain some kind of power over her career and image, she has the responsibility to herself and her sisters to not appear to be a complete hootch. My dilemmna is; I really do think Carl's Jr. makes the best burgers.
26I thought that the gold bikini that she is wearing is sooooo hott! i ordered one for myself! if anyone else wants one i got it at joeytierney.com
272009 is the year of the hater. It's a hot chick in a bikini. What's not to like. Stop hating.
