Since the Summer is in full swing, I want to know about your preferred seaside bites. My absolute all-time favorite things to eat at the beach are fresh grilled sardines. The crisp-skinned, salty kind they serve on the playas of Southern Spain are the best. Things don't get much better than those sardines paired with an icy cold glass of beer and an endless view of the ocean. Whether you're packing a picnic or sitting at a beach bar, there's something about the ocean air that makes one hungry. So, what foods do you like to eat at the beach?

Lobster, crab legs, muscles...sardines, though? No! And a nice beachy cocktail!
1Quesadillas, some pretzels, or a turkey wrap, all inexpensive when you're sitting there getting in and out of the water all day, easy too when you're a high school student.
2A cold Corona is a must-have!
3hmmmm.......maybe it is time I get a job at a beach bar!
4Oh, yes! Beach food.
I am in the minority that actually enjoys oysters, so I will
vote for those with tabasco and plenty of ice cold beer.
5Clam chowder and seafood of all kinds.
6fresh red snapper and a cold beer, one of my favorite things about hitting up the caribbean coast of costa rica from time to time.
7Popsicles, Corona with lime, and fish tacos. I wish I were at the beach right now
8kiwi and pineapple smoothie, on the beach at playa del carmen
9I'm deathly allergic to seafood, so that's all a no go for me. But I'm a jersey shore girl, and we love our beach fries, pizza and icy cold beer!
And if you like Coronas with lime in them - try it with a shot of Bacardi limon instead. SO good!
10Where can I find fresh sardines in California? Thanks!
