I've spent many a wasted minute running around my parties in search of the bottle opener. It always gets lost, carried from one room to another, or absent mindedly pocketed by a guest. To ensure that you don't have to ask two thirds of your guests, have you seen the bottle opener?, hang it near the beer. With a hammer, nail a small nail at eye level above the beer cooler in an easy to spot place. Hang one or two bottle openers for guests to use to open their beer as they drink them.

I drink Rolling Rock. Twist off!
My parents did this on their screen porch and it's worked out really well.
Just get a bottle opener that's to big or pointy to go into someone's pocket.
What a great idea!
Put one of those coke bottle openers on a post in the kitchen or in the back yard near the patio or deck. One in the garage by the garage fridge would be good too.
My boyfriend's parents have the Coke bottle opener mounted (as suggested above) on their deck. It works really well, is stable and doesn't "disappear."
i like the fridge ones
At a recent cookout, we tied the bottle opener to a pillar that was by the trash and cooler. Convenient to open and to throw away the bottle cap!
Haha, crispet, I should do that at my house. I have the bottle opener, can opener, and wine key all hanging up in the kitchen for easy access, but, somehow, the bottle opener is always dissapearing...and I usually find it somewhere in the vincinity of the boyfriend's mess pile. Tying it would prevent this. I mean, how hard is it to hang it back up??
You know someone will walk off with it! Especially if there is more then one!
