I picked ice cream because I don't really remember ever having gelato. If I did it was long ago, and it must not have 'wow'ed me. I just love ice dream.
agreeing with insanitypepper - my preference is gelato, but I'll eat them both! (Actually, I probably eat ice cream more often anyway - just makes the gelato more special when I have it!

We have a gelato shop not far from our house. It's really good. A bunch of us went not to long ago, they had pink grapefruit, it was wonderful. Tart and creamy!
i actually like both and would have which ever one was around. i think that there's a good difference between either that makes it a great treat in the summer.

1Gelato! First time I had it, I was in Europe and I refuse to get it from the U.S. I just know it wouldn't be the same.

22we moved to Germany 3 years ago...and once you try gelato, you are ruined for life.
