I have a serious weakness for sweet-salty foods. One of my favorite ice cream treats as a kid involved saltine crackers, and the salted caramel ice cream at local sweet shop Bi-Rite Creamery is to die for. The sweet-savory deliciousness extends far beyond desserts to everything from fig pizza to watermelon and feta salad. What's your favorite dish that combines savory and sweet tastes?

4Starbucks Salted Caramel Signature Hot Chocolate with a shot of espresso. Extra salt. 460 calories in a tall. 22 grams of fat, 13 of which are saturated fat. In one coffee. Yet, I love it and can't stop ordering it.
Of course, since it was a seasonal item, they do not offer it now but I just get an espresso truffle and carry my own french sea salt in a little tupperware in my purse.
5chocolate-covered pretzels and those Take 5 bars. YUM!
6Pancakes with eggs over easy and bacon.
YUM. This is why I used to have the unhealthy love for mcgriddles when I was younger! Haven't had one in years, but only because of the calorie count, not the deliciousness!
7I love Flipz chocolate covered pretzels, but my very favorit salty/sweet food is salted caramel macaroons from La Duree. To die for.
Although, mandawahoo, I have a thing for McGriddles!
8my grandma used to make this candy with saltines on the bottom covered in chocolate and toffee. SO GOOD. chocolate covered pretzels are to die for too.
9Salty, buttery popcorn with Reeses Pieces and/or M&Ms thrown in. Also, chocolate-covered, peanut butter filled pretzel bites. Mmmmm.
10Homemade Bacon Brownies - yummmmmmmm.

21Pig candy! (Bacon covered in brown sugar and baked until crispy.) A close second is a great aged white cheddar cheese on crackers topped with fig spread. Highly droolworthy.
22I love Junior Mints with popcorn at the movies! Pop in a few Junior Mints, then a handful of popcorn. Delightful!

27I don't eat it often, but I LOVE to dip pretzels in chocolate ice cream and eat them like that. Kind of like Chubby Hubby, but the pretzels are crispier.

29Haagen Daaz (sp?) strawberry ice cream and Better Made plain potato chips. It happened by accident at my cousin's birthday. You know when you get a plate pf birthday cake and everything runs together? The chips were covered in ice cream and it was great.

31Oh man, I am missing this gene. I cant eat this combo together. I've tried!! It has to stay separate for me or my stomach starts to revolt. I'll have my cherry tarts and beef jerky on different days thank you.

33I like sweet (a LOT), and I like salty, but they just shouldn't be combined. I guess I'm in the minority, lol

35This is going to sound weird, but a peanut butter and scrambled egg sandwich. It's awesome, and you can't mock it till you try it. Toasted bread, peanut butter melts on it, filled with scrambled eggs. Mmm.. now I'm hungry. Another one was bacon and peanut butter sandwiches, but I'm a veggie now, so no bacon. I've done it with fake bacon, it's similar. YUM.

37Philadelphia soft pretzels dipped in cherry or chocolate water ice, dark chocolate covered pretzels and potato chips dipped in ice cream.
