I like both, but I prefer cantaloupe because I think they're riper...Honeydews are usually underripe when I buy them. I grow my own cantaloupes, so they get a chance to fully ripen on the
vine and really get a good flavor.
i dont know how youre so in tuned to my personal thoughts on food. this summer, ive been a little bit addicted to fruit salad but i HATE HATE HATE cantelope and honeydew melon. theyre too
sweet- but not in a good way. so instead of mango & strawberries & blueberries & pineapple, i get a salad filled with these cheap, filler fruits.

I love both but if I had to choose it would be cantaloupe.

3Theres nothing I wont eat... except mushrooms, unless its in an asian dish, I'm pretty picky with them. I picked Honeydew.

7I fourth the "I love both" option... But only if they're just the right ripeness. Mushy, overripe melon or hard, flavorless melon is no good!

9Ugh, gross. Only foods I hate are southern foods (except cornbread), asparagus and Honeydew Melons and Cantaloupe...Watermelon though....yummmmm!

15Definitely cantaloupe, I actually don't like honeydew at all! I love eating salt on my cantaloupe and watermelon. Yum!

20I'm so glad to see that more people don't like melon!! Usually when I say that I get looked at like I have 5 heads.
21All things being equal honeydew in season is vastly superior to cantaloupe - however it's so difficult to get a good honeydew.

23I love both, but you more often find good cantaloupe than honeydew and just okay honeydew is gross.
