Using a pepper grinder greatly improves one's seasoning skills. Plus it's fun to play server and ask guests if they'd like freshly ground pepper on their salads or pasta. Do you own this old-school gadget?

sea salt grinder is a must too!
1It's my BFF in the kitchen
2we actually have more than one at our house and it's kind of funny since i don't care much for pepper.
3I can't imagine life without a pepper grinder!
4I have a pepper grinder and a sea salt grinder.
5Yep, we got one for free from the real estate company when we bought our house. It was sort of a strange gift, but I do use it all the time.
6I actually own 4, plus a sea salt grinder. My husband is a wood worker, and keeps making them for me in his woodshop. We now enjoy freshly ground black, white, pink, or a melange of peppers at every meal.
7Yepp and 1 for sea salt.
8pepper grinder, sea salt grinder, lemon pepper grinder and a coffee grinder!!
9loooove freshly ground pepper, sea salt, cinnamon, nutmeg....!!!
10Absolutely can't live without! I love my sea salt grinder too! I love the gourmet pepper it has all the different kinds of pepper in it, yummy!
11Yeah, as well as one for nutmeg, and another one for coriander (I think you guys call it cilantro) seeds. Would use one for salt, though I use either kosher salt or sea salt flakes.
12A few years ago, when we were setting up house, we made a trip to our local kitchen store and they recommended a stainless steel pepper mill and a salt grinder--and we didn't blink twice at the $80 price tag on each, because we absolutely trust our kitchen store owners; they've proven to be worth their weight in gold! (I love our s&p grinders; they're fantastic, as promised--and guaranteed for life.)
13I do have a really big one, and whenever my husband and I use it, we say "Would you like some fresh-a pepper?" (like that guy http://www.linkognito.com/b.php?b=307)
I wonder if it will ever stop being funny
I grind almost all my spices before using them.
14Yes, but after I bought it never seemed to use it.
