So, here is a question. Is a fava bean essentially a large lima bean? I've never seen fava beans, but I have lots of recipes for them. Wondering if I can substitue with lima beans, but not
sure how that effects the taste!
To ella1978 - fava beans are it's own bean, they are Portuguese (I'm married to one, not the bean a Portuguese man) and they are a lot of work but worth it. Now you can find them canned and
they are tasty if you like limas.

15Refried beans. Don't really like beans whole, they are kind of gross.

18Lentils for soup and black-eye peas to eat. Although I HATE shelling black-eyed peas... but you do that growing up on a farm.
