Last week I introduced my cousin Caroline who is 11 going on 25. She is the oldest of four children, and loves helping her mom around the kitchen, so I thought it would be fun to get her a little cooking kit. I asked you to help me find a cooking kit that was age appropriate, informative and challenging. You bookmarked your finds in the TeamSugar Yum Market with the keyword tag Kid's Cooking Kit.
Lots of kits involve miniature kitchen gadgets instead of actual recipes and cooking techniques. I really liked the recipe box found by mellie_608, but my favorite was the Pizza Making Kit. It comes with an apron, recipe, and fun little pan so Caroline can host her own pizza party whenever she wants! Plus, it will teach her basic culinary methods such as how to grate cheese and slice mushrooms. Thanks for finding this gruaig_rua!

So cute! I hope she enjoys learning more around the kitchen!
1I like the ones that come with a carrying/storage case. I'm just thinking of my mom's kitchen and wondering where in the world we would have stored pots and pans for my little hands while I was growing up! We had a fairly big kitchen but trying to cram in more stuff would have been impossible. The cases would make it easier to find a place in the cabinets.
2I think that these are the best kinds of presents. The child gets to learn something, have fun, and have something tasty at the end!!
3Such cute ideas!
4You're welcome PS! I hope she enjoys it
5The pizza kit is cute! What kid doesn't love to make their own pizza's?
6I think that absolutely every kit was very useful for in the kitchen!! But my top three favorites are:
1. Kids Cooking Set-Deluxe. I thought that the stainless steel pots and pans were very good and durable and looked real! And the tools were also very useful for making just about anything!! This kit definitley has all the basics for the cooking!
2. Kids Cooking Kit: Kids 12 piece cooking set- Just Like Moms.
I also really like this one because, again, it is very useful and has the basics, but it also has an apron so you won't get too dirty (you never know what can happen).
3. Sassafras Little Cook Tool Kit: Home and Garden. This one didn't have as many supplies (like pots or pans) but I still like this one because in the #2 cooking set there isn't as many tools and this set has tools for making anything!! Even 5 different sized measuring cups!
Overall, I thoguht all the cooking kits were great and thanks again partysugar!
