When I'm reaching for ice cream or chocolate, it's because I want something that's totally sweet to taste. I think bacon would be more of a salty taste with it and wouldn't satisfy my
craving.
There's a place somewhere in New England that does a Lobster ice cream. It sounded indefensibly horrible until one of the locals used the adjective "buttery", and then it sounded worth a try.
I *do* love the Butter Brickle from my friendly neighborhood ice cream shop (Heith's, if you're ever in Chesterfield, VA).
the vosges bacon + chocolate bar is amazing. i gotta say the bacon ice cream sounds a bit weird, but can't knock anything till i've tried it. but seriously the mo's bacon bar is quite
possibly my favorite chocolate bar to date.
ewewwwwww! if I ate meat, then I would go for the chocolate bacon. My mom does a recipe for lamb shanks with chocolate jus, which is supposedly amazing, so it doesn't seem that strange for
me!
I am vegetarian, but the smell of bacon could possibly change my mind some day! I think either would be good because of the salty/sweet combo, like potato chips and chocolate together.
Delicious. Especially when hung over.
I cannot imagine the flavours working at all - I expect it to be horrid - Nevertheless like Curious Alice, I would be willing to try it. Refusing to try something because you don't think you
will like it is just narrow minded.*
*unless you know you don't like chocolate, or bacon, or ice cream separately in which case you are just projecting from known data.
I'm going for the bacon and chocolate. I though bacon and peanut butter sounded gross until I tried it. It wasn't as gross as you might think. The flavors reminded me of a chocolate-covered
pretzel. I'm guessing the bacon bar is similar.
I can't imagine it would be that horrible. How many of us have had breakfast like pancakes or waffles with bacon on the side, and the syrup has gotten on the bacon? That isn't horrifying, so
I can't imagine this would be too far of a stretch away from that.
Meat mixed with either ice cream or chocolate is a great big NO in my book. Nothing against bacon...I just don't want it in my chocolate/ice cream. Or my chocolate ice cream.
ok- for all you who are swearing no meat+chocolate may i remind you of a mexican favorite? Mole!! yum! and ps- the chocolate bar is amazing- that brand is very creative! the ones with chiles
in them are awesome!

If I had to have one or the other ... I'd choose the chocolate, I think. But both sound disgusting to me.
1I love bacon, and i love ice cream, and I love chocolate....but wouldn't mix bacon with either....
2I HATE BACON SOOOO MUCH
3Thats nasty.. I dont want to put anyone down but only fat people would find these flavor foods yummy!
4gag...
5Just the smell of bacon makes me want to hurl. Then to see it on a plate, seriously, it just a big strip of greasy fat!
6I'm with ellenmarie... I just can't imagine how these would be any good.
7not really a fan of bacon . . . neither one, please =)

9Neither! Bacon! BLAH!!! Just the smell of bacon makes me nauseas.
Sorry if I offended anyone, probably everyone... can't wait to be upbraided!

16Eww. That makes my stomach turn.
17one word:
EWW.

18I do love bacon but ew. Seriously that's just foul!

20Ew, they sound disgusting
21They sound gross, but I would really like to try the one with chocolate just so that I could say I did.
22I am vegetarian, but the smell of bacon could possibly change my mind some day! I think either would be good because of the salty/sweet combo, like potato chips and chocolate together. Delicious. Especially when hung over.
23I think I just threw up a little bit in my mouth...but I can see how these might appeal to the pregnant set.
24Hmmm, probably the chocolate. Here's a site- http://gratefulpalate.com/ that's devoted to all things bacon, some pretty odd ones included.
25alright, i'm in if it doesn't really taste like bacon+ice cream.. or bacon + chocolate. perhaps if it just adds a little salty taste to the party?
26Wow, I've always said bacon makes everything better, but I may have just been proven wrong.
I'd totally try either, though. Just to see!
27Gross...neither!
28i'm vegan, so obviously this is really gross. never had bacon growing up so this doesn't tempt me in the least.
29it's no fun to answer "neither"..I'd go for the chocolate

31I don't think bacon would taste good in a frozen food. The chocolate might work.
32I'm going for the bacon and chocolate. I though bacon and peanut butter sounded gross until I tried it. It wasn't as gross as you might think. The flavors reminded me of a chocolate-covered pretzel. I'm guessing the bacon bar is similar.
33I would try both...I LOVE BACON!!!

35I just went to try and buy the bacon bar online and it's OUT OF STOCK!!!
36ok i understand putting snowcaps in my popcorn,.. but this is just weird! lol
37I like bacon and maple syrup so chocolate may not be so different. Sweet and salty
38Uh, interesting. I don't like bacon so neither.
39Uh, interesting. I don't like bacon so neither.
40if i had to pick, bacon chocolate. only because i sometimes dip bacon in my syrup at breakfast.

42WTH?? I live in Delaware and I've never heard of this. Is this something from my state? I"m so ashamed...booo Delaware!
43ok- for all you who are swearing no meat+chocolate may i remind you of a mexican favorite? Mole!! yum! and ps- the chocolate bar is amazing- that brand is very creative! the ones with chiles in them are awesome!
44Bacon icecream...YUCK!! I had hands on experience with that one. Got bored work at Dairy Queen one day and made a bacon blizzard. never again
45i'd have a bite of both, but i'd have to try it before i could actually say either.
