Hey Yum, how would you describe the taste of ice kacang? From that visual all I'm thinking of is frozen veggies that have been in my freezer too long.
The "pimpthatsnack" sight is hilarious!!!
kacang is just a finely shaved ice, like super super fine, like soft snow (not like a snowcone) and then it's covered in a variety of things like flavored syrups, sweet red beans, pineapple, strawberries, sweetened condensed milk, etc. I personally love mine with sweetened condensed milk, red beans and strawberries.
That Starbucks dude is crazy. His movie was pretty funny though.
my weakness........ SWEETS!!!!
How I miss ice kacang and cendol..... However, I've never ever seen it with strawberries in Southeast Asia. It usually has palm nuts, corn, red bean, rose syrup, palm sugar, etc.
wow thats alot of Starbucks !
I'll take your word for it Yum... That kacang pictured above doesn't look very appetizing!!
Ohhhh that Duff n' Donuts is only available in Springfield VT!! It sounds soooo good!!
The ice kacang is almost like the Filipino Halo-Halo! Yummy!
Wow to the giant animal cookie. I loved those in college!
