i go to the grocery store every night that i cook, even if i cook two nights in a row. i like that fresh from the market feel!

Tip..........soccer season has just started.........go about 9 Saturday morning and there is no one in the store,

Same as everyone else, I usually go Sunday nights, sometimes on Saturday.

I go every Monday morning. It's not as crowded and there are a lot of older people there who love to chat with my daughter.

I usually go on Wednesdays because that is the day I pick up my CSA share. That way I already know what veggies I am going to have for the week and can menu plan accordingly.

There's no option for how I shop. I do my major shop on Tuesdays, because that's when my grocery store gets their major stock truck (ie, they stock overnight into Tuesday morning). That's when I get my dry goods, frozen foods, pop, and items from that week's sale circular. Then I return on afternoons before a meal in which I need ingredients. I stop at roadside farmer's stands for my fruits and veg through the summer/fall as needed.

Sunday afternoons, but I'll have to start going earlier due to soccer season... thanks for the tip chief dishwasher.

Sunday afternoon. My daughters and I clean the house from top to bottom, get laundry done, go out to eat and grocery shop. Everything is set up, clean and ready for the week that way.

My husband and I go every Saturday morning after we've stopped at Dunkin Donuts for breakfast.

Mondays after I've seen the Sunday sale papers and clipped my coupons.

Saturday or Sunday ... when I have the time to not only do my shopping, but also prepare simple meals for the course of the week [like portioning out for bagged lunches].

depends on what i'm cooking. i also have safeway deliver groceries when i really don't have time to go.

I usually try to go Mondays right after work. I hate Mondays and I hate grocery shopping so at least I get it all over with at once.

When I was young, my mom would always go on Friday. I loved Friday because that was the day she would make the "quick dinner" (which could be prepared after returning from shopping ) -- Polish sausage, macaroni and cheese, and cottage cheese; I'm sure there was a vegetable, too.

Saturday morning: coffee, farmers market then grocery store!

Tuesday or Wednesday after work, less crowded. Used to be part of the Sunday evening group but the store was picked over by then and too many people for too few cashiers.
